Jungle Addition exceeded expectations! It was exactly (or maybe even better) than the published photos (usually it’s the other way around, as properties often publish very outdated or retouched photos). The facilities were amazing. The jungle-like vegetation and decoration makes this hotel a true oasis in the middle of the city. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable and had a very good bathroom as well (which was not displayed in Booking.com pictures so we were pleasantly surprised to find a completely separated shower - not so common in Southeast Asia). The staff was very friendly and helpful and welcomed us with a refreshing beverage and cold towels during check-in. Pool-side restaurant/bar service was also excellent with great options for lunch/dinner but also great breakfast - although it is not buffet, you can choose from a decent size list of options (some more western some more Asian) and request as many items and as many times you want. As a nice plus, guests can access the facilities of another nearby hotel: pool (which we did not use so we cannot rate) and fitness center (which was very well equipped with some machines, a great rack with bumpers up to 25kg and also all the fractionals, dumbbells up to 14kgs, AC, complementary water, etc). We could not really ask for more. Highly recommended!

I thoroughly recommend Chaiya Palace Hotel. Staying here felt like being in a 'home away from home'. Aside from the exemplary cleanliness and amazing room, the staff were exceptional. It is difficult to exaggerate what an important part this hotel played in my life over the last week. While staying, my wife became ill, the management recommends a hospital and provided a driver. Day after day, as I was staying there alone, they expressed genuine concern and have kept in touch since. It was like having a hotel family! And, I couldn’t have been stranded in a better place - comfortable environment, great food!

everything. the Staffs were very good ,Julia and the other lady ( forgor her name) who fixed to us all the travel to Seim Reap.Even we had breakfast made to us bec we had to go earlier before breakfast time.. I really like the hotel and breakfast was good everyday ..no problems at all ..100 % if I will stay there again

The stay at Villa Grange was simply outstanding! A clean and spacious room, a quiet yet central location, beautiful and nicely decorated facilities. The bed is comfortable, pool is great for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Staff is incredibly kind and friendly. Definitely recommended!

Some great sites to visit in the city along with the rather grim (but necessary) genocide venues. Evening river cruise very good value and relaxing way to lose an hour. Huge weekend buzz on the Riverside walking street. Very busy and lively with plenty of street food offerings

A hidden gem. Great restaurants, magnificent river broadwalk, vibrant bars. Tuk tuks always available & cheap - but do negotiate price before getting in. Get an idea of what prices should be from your hotel or fellow seasoned travellers or locals.

Not too busy city.

Not too busy city. Streets were pretty clean and i was happy with the condition of the washrooms and toilets. Being Muslim, there were some options for halal food. However, walking around the city along roads and pavements can be a hazard for older people because of uneven road surfaces and lack of pedestrian walkways. Roads need resurfacing too- too many potholes.
