I had an incredible stay at this property! Having visited Anuradhapura before, I can honestly say this time felt like a real getaway. The location is perfect—close to all the must-see landmarks, which made it so easy to explore the history and culture of the area. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how peaceful and welcoming the place felt. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless, and the food was absolutely fantastic—definitely five-star quality. One of the highlights for me was the calm, zen-like atmosphere, especially while relaxing by the beautiful pool. Between the peaceful surroundings, great amenities, and friendly staff, everything exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in Anuradhapura, I highly recommend Maho Boutique!

Super kind hosts, they were so attentive. They made us dinner even though we arrived late, they even got up at 5am to make us breakfast to bring with us on our safari. Location was great as we’re close to the safari. The room was comfortable and everything we needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

It is more beautiful a place than the pictures-if that’s possible! We spent 3 days, one just relaxing in the premises and we don’t think we can get over it! The people working are really helpful, really kind and provide you with anything you need. From their welcome until their tips for our departure, they were tireless and obliging. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Also, they can arrange any visit in the nearby monuments and cities with excellent service. Bonus for us: on the day of our departure monkeys were playing outside our room, which we enjoyed so much. Can’t recommend it enough!!!!!

We started our journey in Sri Lanka from Wilpattu National Park and we decided to spend two days in this magnificent place immersed in the nature, no chaos, just the sound of the birds. The rooms are simple, but they have everything you need. The owner Anta is such a nice person and also knows a lot about the area and its wildlife: he took us on a birding tour on the first day and we spotted many beautiful species. We also had a full day safari with Arshe, one of his guide, and its been magic! So I really can say that this place is fully recommended if you like nature, nice food and good people!

Great value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable beds. The family running the hostel were lovely and very helpful. Greeted us with a welcome cup of tea on arrival and organised a tuk tuk tour to see the ancient city. Would definitely recommend staying here!

The welcome and the service that we received were exceptional - unrivalled by any other hotel visited during three weeks in Sri Lanka. The staff were genuinely happy that we were their guest, and they were not afraid to show it. From the moment we arrived, they did everything and more to make sure that we were comfortable. The central courtyard garden lent the hotel an idyllic cosy community feel and allowed us to feel nicely isolated from the bustle of the streets outside. The pool area was scenic, the pool functional, and there were a bunch of sun beds from which to capture the sun as it moved above the tree line. One of us fell ill during our stay. The manager offered to take us to the hospital, assisted us there, and the entire team attended to us tirelessly day after day - including complimentary afternoon tea in our room. Bicycles were available to borrow to get around and see the various fascinating heritage sites - and we'd really recommend using them! Breakfast was predominantly Euro-continental, incredibly generous, and tastier than anything else we had in Sri Lanka outside of 5* hotels. Dinner was tasty too. The menu was diverse and competitively priced. Table service was exquisite. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and secure. The location was great - perfectly situated for exploring town, set back from the road so as to be silent at night, and with quick access to the lake on foot. A beautiful gaggle of peacocks graces the gardens. The hotel arranged our onward travel to Trincomalee in a comfortable car at a competitive price.

I recently stayed at The triangle hotel and was impressed with my overall experience. The hotel’s location was convenient, with several local attractions and dining options within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable, with modern furnishings and a cozy bed that made for a restful stay. The housekeeping staff did a great job of maintaining the cleanliness throughout my visit. The bathroom was well-equipped with fresh towels and quality toiletries. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, quickly addressing any requests or concerns I had. I appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi and the option to enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning. One minor downside was the noise level from the street, which could be a bit disruptive at times. However, it didn’t detract significantly from my overall experience. For the price, I felt that The triangle hotel offered good value. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and would certainly consider staying here again.

The stay in the tree house was amazing. The place is very nice and clean. It has a nice pool outside too with a small pool for kids aswell. There were rabbits, gooses and chickens.Almost like a tiny Zoo.😁 The breakfasts and the dinners were so delicious that we ate 3 times there. They have the best pineapple jam and kottu rotti in the world!!So tasty an very delicious. There was a lot of variety and we were able to try a lot of sri lankan specialities! 😋Everything was explained very well. The two women in the kitchen do an amazing job! We have to mention the friendly staff: They were amazing and they took very good care of us! Namal, the host, is so friendly!! He organised all the tours for us and answered all the questions about culture, food, trips and sri lanka. WE RECOMMEND THE VILLAGETOUR AND THE SAFARI WITH ASANKEH, WHO LIVES NEAR BY. Super nice hotel and very friendly hosts. We felt welcome from the first second. The tree houses and the area around are beautiful, there is a nice pool and a lot of things to do in Habarana. The hosts helped us with every activities, sightseeing or finding drivers. Although the prices are higher than the Sri Lankan level, you get full service and experience so that the price is legitimate for everything! We would recommend everybody to go there and enjoy the time in the nature!

Beautiful hotel in a great location for anyone who wants to experience what Anuradhapura has to offer. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The breakfast was included with our stay and we opted for the Sri Lankan style breakfast. It was so delicious and we ordered the same for the second day as well. During my stay, the property owner made several inappropriate and judgmental comments about my affordability and my decision to share meals with my mother, who is disabled. His behaviour was rude and discriminatory. After I posted my review describing my disappointment, the owner contacted me directly on my personal mobile number using very abusive and offensive language. This message was completely unacceptable and made me feel unsafe.

Anuradhapura is an amazing and spiritual place.

Anuradhapura is an amazing and spiritual place. It's different from the other sites in Sri Lanka because it still attracts so many pilgrims to its religious sites. It's a good idea to dedicate one day to visiting the active pilgrimage sites and the next to the historical sites, for which you need a ticket. Remember to cover up with long trousers and sleeves and don't forget your socks, because the ground is really hot and you have to take off your shoes everywhere. If you have an extra day, you can also return to the sites at night, which is when pilgrims light candles. Make sure you've got the Pick Me app installed and look out for a tuk tuk driver called Nisha. He's absolutely amazing: great driver, kind and attentive and with good English. For dinner, the atmospheric Hotel Shalini is a good bet. The Seedevi family restaurant is another good place. If you want to have a beer, they can put you in a separate 'family' room, or you can go to the tiny 'pub' next door.

Beautiful jungle surrounds. Lots of activities. Safari doesn't tell you about all the extra costs involved. Entry fee big. Tip for animal spotter. The Harabana lake cruise is brilliant. No motor just a gentle paddle, allowing you get up close to wildlife
