He helped arrange tuk-tuks, shopping, and even welcomed me into his beautiful village. That day will stay with me. Chuti’s cooking is out of this world — soulful curries cooked to perfection. Asanka, Cha, and the rest of the team are warm, intuitive, and quietly brilliant. Returning to your cottage feels like the fairies have been — everything clean, calm, and glowing. It’s the kind of place that makes you breathe deeper, sleep better, and believe in the goodness of people again. I travel a lot. I’m extremely picky. And I can say — from Monte Carlo to Mauritius — this is in my top three stays anywhere in the world. The Cottage is family, nature, care, and calm wrapped into one unforgettable experience. Everything. From the warm welcome and room upgrade by Kennedy to the amazing F&B staff and products and the all round warmth and kindness from everyone. The best all-round hospitality I've experienced and I travel alot. The room was amazing and had everything you could need (except maybe a bedside lamp). Ground floor so I could walk straight onto the beach and easily access both pools. All rooms are sea facing. I had an incredible Kandyan massage at the Sky Spa and even tried the Seafood restaurant on site, recommended by Arun Lakmal. Literally all the meals, breakfast to dinner, were great. The hotel is sustainably run for the most part and reasonably priced. It's also in the main "fun" road so everything is accessible. Kudos also to the maintenance, security and the lifeguards who all made me feel very taken care of and comfortable. I couldn't ask for a better introduction to Sri Lanka and just 30 minutes from the airport. I genuinely did not want to leave and if I have any cash left after touring the country, this will be my last hotel too.

We enjoyed our stay here at the Jetwing Blue. The hotel is well maintained, rooms were clean and spacious and staff were friendly and attentive. Loved that the hotel was on the beach which was kept so pristine and there were two pools. Breakfast was excellent with good variety and we found it was not monotonous for longer stays. Happy with our choice and have no complaints cept the room rate and taxes was a bit on the high end.

Negombo is one of those places that has lovely beaches, the beach were the Sentido Heritance was located was very clean and beautiful but there were parts to Negombo were the beach did have rubbish. Negombo itself has plenty to offer from the fish markets boat tours, mangrove tours and the city. Other amazing places in Sri Lanka - Kandy, Tricomalee, Jaffna and Islands, Galle.

Katunayake is a convenient location for travelers, especially those flying in or out of Bandaranaike International Airport. It’s a busy area with easy access to transportation and essential services, making it ideal for short stays before or after a flight. I stayed at Hello Airport Hotel during my time in Katunayake, and it was a great choice. The hotel is just a few minutes from the airport, which made it perfect for my early morning departure. The location couldn’t be better for transit passengers. The check-in was smooth, the staff were polite, and the room was clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, convenient stop near the airport, I’d definitely recommend Hello Airport Hotel.

The host was very kind and helpful.

The host was very kind and helpful. He received us very happily. The next day at 6.00 in the morning he prepared for us nice delicious tea, before we left to the Airport. We will recommend this house to our friends and waiting to stay at such a nice calm and quiet place close to the Airport again.

Negombo is the perfect place to stay on your first or last...

Negombo is the perfect place to stay on your first or last day of your trip in Sri Lanka. It's really close to the airport, it has a nice beach, and there are a lot of good hotels. There's no tourist attraction around, but there's a few good restaurants also.

I like most of the thing is staff's response was excellent and very quiet and peaceful room. The hotel must be implemented to do below the mentioned points. 1: The hotel room needs to keep a dustbin. 2: The hotel must keep a bath towel inside the bathroom. 3; The Bathroom inside the slippers needs to be kept. Other than this everything is ok.

I hear from others Negombo was great area for the visitors also it is closer to CMB airport that was the reason I selected there. After I explore the area there are so many nice hotels are there to book and also heard down south area is becoming a good spot for the tourism than Negombo.
