This hotel is a real gem. It is in an amazing location on the edge of the medina that is still accessible by a car but already on pedestrian zone. From here,it is a short walk to the creek, main shopping streets and the main square. You can also go up the mosque for a beautiful view and the path is right by the hotel. The view from the terrace for sunsets is unbelievable. The staff is kind, professional and helpful. Breakfast is very filling and with healthy choices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The manager is super kind and really takes guest comfort seriously. We got upgraded to a higher level room due to some noisy guests. We did not even ask:). After 1 month of travelling in Morocco, this was top notch experience. Highly recommended and if it is in your budget, splurge on the 3rd floor suite that has direct access to terrace and corner views onto the medina and city. If I knew how comfortable and spectacular it is, I would have booked it right away!

The location is amazing. In the heart of the old city. Walkable to all amenities and just about 10min walk to the Kasbah. The staff is very friendly and professional, always there to help especially Mohamed. He gave us recommendations to good restaurants and easy ways to walk around the old city.

They were very friendly and polite with my kids and showed great care and respect for my mother, too. The hospitality is on another level, and so was the level of cleanlines. Amazing place, pretty much at the top of the hill in Chefchaouen, so while at first the town can be confusing, it's actually quite easy to find, just keep going up, and you can also see the lit rooftop string lights from way down. The room was so well put together, it was just beautiful, with a comfy bed, a great sofa area, a little kitchenette, a terrace and the most beautiful bathroom, just all really stylish. Breakfast was also really nice and plenty and staff were all very friendly.

This is quite good place overall. From the moment you enter you'll have a good feeling. The family suite was quite good, each suite is a standalone unit. The restaurant serves some quality food better than what you can get outside. Just don't try the tbone steak. The tagine is good so as the desserts. Breakfast has good variety and was also of good quality. Location is also good as we can just walk to the medina and also to the spanish mosque.

The location and the house itself are absolutely peaceful and beautiful! Nestled in full natur and up on the mountain. It‘s an easy 25min walk down into Chaouen and it is super easy to organize a taxi for the way back up with Rachid. The host Rachid is the most warm and lovely person, and made us feel right at home and cooked us a lovely spontaneous birthday dinner! He is incredibly helpful and nothing is a hassle with him! We had a wonderful stay!

This was my favorite riad during our trip to Morocco. It is centrally located, paid parking is available nearby at Hotel Parador, the house is beautifully decorated, and it has two lovely terraces where you have breakfast in the morning. The views of Chef from the terrace are lovely, and breakfast is filling. Wifi worked well and the staff were kind to us.

The Blue City was frantic and filled with tourists not...

The Blue City was frantic and filled with tourists not really interested in the Medina, i don't know how the vendors made any money, it was too crowded to stop and shop. This endless stream of overdressed self-absorbed visitors (influencers) posing for Instagram is out of control; Every place that gets on the tourist map has this plague. Parking options in the town are very limited, beware of being directed to a bad spot by parking assistants. I would not go back.

I've dreamt about visting Chefchaouen for decades. So despite the one and two-day trips so many guidebooks recommend, I stayed for 5 days to try to get a better sense of this magical place. It was well wworth it

Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city.

Chefchaouen is an amazing historic city. So much to see and do. Spend the morning on a hike and come back for the market and a tagine. I would like to have had a beer but I survived, lol. Our guide Abdul was a beautiful human being. He enriched our trip so much. His deep explanation of Ramadan was an inspiration. The solidarity with all people and the egalitarian aspects were something that I had not formerly considered. It is a bonding with all of humanity. Abdul showed us the secret spots of this ancient city and I am better for it.
