Our time at Auberge Todra Gorge was truly special! Located in one of the most stunning canyons with some of the most beautiful skies in Morocco, the setting was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself perfectly blends rustic charm with sophistication, offering quality and comfort. The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, and we can’t forget to mention the adorable four-legged intern, who added such a lovely touch to our stay. It was the perfect place to recharge our energy before continuing our adventure to the desert. The shower was nice, the food was delicious, and the music added a wonderful ambiance. Auberge Todra Gorge is yet another unforgettable gem of Morocco. Thank you for everything!

What a great find. Highly friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable, nothing is too much trouble. Both breakfasts and evening meals were a joy and our room was huge and clean. This riad is in a perfect location to explore the Dades Valley and, further out, the Todra Gorge.     Everything about the property is absolutely beautiful! I would like to highlight a few of the top moments of my stay: 1. I have never met more friendly and attentive team. They treated us with such kindness and made our stay that much more enjoyable. 2. The landscape and architecture of the property is unmatched and made us feel like we were living in paradise. The hotel has the most beautiful garden and pool space where we were able to relax and enjoy. We enjoyed soaking up the sun and reading our books. 3. The uniqueness of this hotel is an experience in itself. It feels like a paradise palace in the middle of the Moroccan dessert. I will definitely be coming back on either a girls trip or even romantic getaway. 4. It is easy enough to get to from Marrakech with buses and private taxis taking you through the Atlas Mountains. It is also about a 30 minute taxi from Ouarzazate Airport. I could go on and on about my stay here but I’ll leave it here. Thank you Brahmin, Zaharia, Raheel, and Erik! We will definitely be back for another trip of a lifetime!

    This family owned place is beautifully situated on top of the hill, the views are really worth driving up for. The rooms are nicely decorated and there is a beautiful terrace and indoor restaurant room. We received large towels in our large room with its own balcony with beautiful view and an extra large double bed. The hosts made us feel welcome and accommodated our gluten free diet and helped us with our other questions. It is a place that has heart, and is really a place to come rest after a long journey.

    The Riad Caravene is fantastic in every way. The riad looks like something from House Beautiful with beautiful spaces and lovely art. The rooms are gorgeous, the common spaces lovely. Particularly nice are the two terraces near and at the top of the riad, with great views in all directions and lovely furnishings. The small pool and deck on the ground floor also were lovely and a perfect spot after walking around the ksar. The staff were wonderfully helpful and the food outstanding. We would return in a heartbeat if our travels take us this way again. Thanks to all!

    You really don't need to stop here and stay over...

    You really don't need to stop here and stay over... The todra gorge is beautiful to see, but you could drive up to it and out again. I recommend stopping at Family el Mabrouk restaurant on your way into the gorge for a truly authentic experience. They are so full of energy. They'll dress you up in traditional wear and take photo's for you. They even took me with to the Souk in town. Highly recommend.

    We had a sunset tour on the camel organized from the Oases Tiloqui luxury Hotel, and it was great. From Zagora is 75 minutes by car to reach the location where you can also spend a night in the tents, that it can be quiet unique. We stay only for dinner after the camel tour. Pity that the bivouac was pretty neglected.

    If you want to avoid big crowds and are willing to travel a bit then M'Hamid may be a good choice. You are 2 hours by 4x4 and a couple days by camel to see the Erg Chigaga. When I was visiting in December there were not large crowds which enhanced the trip for me.

    Truly spectacular building, location, and views! The facility is almost magical in in architecture...all stone that blends in with the Gorge area and the quality of the building is top notch. Also, great that it is mostly run on energy from the sun. To top it all off, we had the cave room, which is truly unique. Finally, the staff was super friendly and accomodating. Highly recommended even if a little off the beaten path. Well worth it.

We came in late, and the owner, who turned out to be an amazing cook made us an amazing dinner. We even got invited into the kitchen to learn more about certain dishes. The next morning we enjoyed a Berber style breakfast and were sent off with some pancakes for on the road.

    With Studios to visit one day and Ait Benhaddou the next. While each place takes half day each to visit take two days and enjoy the relaxation around the hotel. Staying at The Atlas Studio Hotel your next door to the studios. But a drive for anywhere else
