It was unbelievable experience. The way to the camp was adventure as we had a tour on the way to the camp - 4x4 ride through the desert with really interesting rock formations (tajin mountain, oasis, fossils, tea break in the the restaurant in the middle of the desert). Once we got to the camp we could see a lovely sunset from the nearby dunes. At night there was a dinner (tajin, veggies, lots of fruits) and campfire with traditional songs. In the morning we had a camel ride during the sunrise. Breakfast (joghurt, egg-based tajin dish, bread, fruits, honey, jam, tea & coffee). The tenets are clean and cosy with clean linen, it was warm at night. You will also get towels. Bathroom also clean. No bugs or anything what we would be scared of. All in all- we got much more than we expected. The location is just amazing. You can see not only sand dunes but all kind of desert on the way, interesting rock formations and mountains. It is really best place to experience the desert.

I really recommend this place. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The host family is welcoming and nice. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable.

The authentic Moroccan hospitality! the old building on the hill overlooking the palm-grove is stunning, as well as the abandoned village behind it; it is run by mother and daughter, Fatima, alway smiling and helpful, who cook also very well using the product of the family farm. The silence and the view of the starring sky from the terrace are unbeatable...it's a really magic place in a corner of Morocco off the beaten track, far from tourists crowd. If you wish to experience a genuine Moroccan Sahara atmosphere, Riad Bounaylat is perfect.
