United KingdomWe cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Everything was perfect, lovely clean room, very spacious and well equipped. Great breakfast and appreciated tea and coffee always being available. Collected from the harbour and helped us arrange our ferry transfers from the airport, making our journey seamless. Booked 2 excursions with the hotel (manta rays and whale shark snorkelling) both included lunch, and additions we weren’t expecting! Extra reef snorkelling and stopping at another island.
Special thank you to Waruna (maybe incorrectly spelt!) who was always around at meals and such a positive person. We really enjoyed chatting to him about our recent trip to Sri Lanka.
Also thank you to Anoof and Adheel (again may be spelt incorrectly!) who organised and were on our excursions, really appreciated your expertise and taking care of us, especially when one of us couldn’t find the boat! It really made our trip special.
Thank you to Siyam, the hotel truely is a gem and we’d recommend it to everyone.

AustraliaThe service was excellent, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.There were lots of activities, including manta and whaleshark snorkelling. The island itself is a bit secluded, but the scenery is extraordinary.
Mr Imran was always accessible if we ever needed anything. He always went the extra mile to ensure we were happy and felt taken care of. He is a great asset to the hotel!

I want to thank the hotel team for their warm welcome. They have their own speedboat that takes you from the airport to the island. At the start of the island, an electric bus picks you up and brings you directly to the hotel. What follows is a delightful surprise and a seamless check-in to a cozy room with panoramic windows, refreshing air conditioning, and a stunning view.

The fact that the most beautiful beach on the island is just steps away from the hotel.
The delicious breakfasts and dinners.
The daily room cleaning.
The nighttime fishing experience.

SerbiaIt is family run guesthouse. And they do it properly. Food is great, especially local dishes and fruit. Snorkel equipment and bikes are free. It is reasonably clean, you shall get beach towels. Main front desk person, Musa will be ready to give you information, help in any logistic issue, organize excursions or solve any problem. Overall it is nice. Village shops are nearby, beach is 5 minutes by bike. Sun beds are relatively scarce on sunset beach, so go early morning and take good sun beds. If you visit Thoddoo you will share experience of real life Maldives. It is affordable, very good for recharging. It is not luxurious as the resort, but beach and sea life is fantastic, local fruit too, and you feel spending time in real community. And you will enjoy Maldives for fraction of resort cost

We’ve been fortunate to travel to many beautiful places around the world, but nothing compares to our experience at Constance Moofushi. Today is our last day of our honeymoon, and to say we’re a bit gutted is an understatement. Coming in May, we were slightly nervous about the weather — but we’ve honestly had the best holiday of our lives.
While May is technically the start of the wet season in the Maldives, the weather was far better than expected: around 60–70% sunny, with occasional showers and refreshing wind. Rather than detracting from the experience, the changing skies added a richness to the scenery — bringing a welcome break from the intense tropical heat. It also gave us a chance to experience the Maldives as the locals do, in all its natural beauty. The shifts in weather were truly exceptional.
We stayed in a Senior Overwater Villa, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Waking up each morning to the gentle sound of the ocean, diving straight into the turquoise waters, and watching the sunset from our deck was pure magic. But what sets Moofushi apart isn’t just the scenery — it’s the heart and soul of the place: the people.
From the moment we stepped off the seaplane, we were treated with genuine warmth and personal attention. The staff knew our names, our preferences, even where we liked to sit at dinner — and they remembered it all without us having to ask twice. It never felt robotic or rehearsed — just naturally thoughtful and full of care. Our room was refreshed multiple times a day, and every small touch was meaningful — from the honeymoon decorations to the smiles we were greeted with every day.
The service was flawless. Whether it was chatting with the wonderful wait staff, being surprised with thoughtful gestures from housekeeping, or watching my husband play cricket with some of the staff (we’re from New Zealand, so that meant a lot!) — every moment felt special.

To start with it is very very beautiful island.
- Fantastic Snorkeling experience. (Must try)
- Food was good with daily variations and multiple options and we have requested chef for few extra dishes that fits our taste. Chef entertained the request and provided what we have asked.
- We found time to do a lot guided activities. Whaleshark trip, inhouse reef / manta snorkeling are much recommended.
- Best part was the Staff, they were very friendly and accommodating. Overall service was exceptional.

Gangehi Island resort was a dream resort - this is one of the best places to visit in Maldives.
Myself and my wife had requested vegetarian meal - the breakfast and dinner had so many options that we were eating 3 plates every day. The rooms were amazing. The shower idea that has you hearing the ocean while shower just brought that extra special feeling.
To be able to open your balcony door, go out and straight into the Indian ocean.
Amazing friendly staff - always wishing you well.

Beautiful well maintained resort. The staff were friendly at every interaction. The buffet was great, and the drinks, cocktail and wine selection was extensive (Must try the Espresso Martini!). The app makes coordinating everything easy, and shows all of the options across the resort which made it very easy to track bookings and decide what to do.
There are additional excursions, spa treatments and dinner options that are payable as an extra charge to the all inclusive

Everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a water villa and saw sting rays and sharks from the balcony, used the private steps to go for a swim and snorkelled around the house reef. The restaurant had lots of choice and food being cooked fresh continuously.

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

Great Island, plenty to do and good snorkelling straight off Villa. Food, people and facilitiies were great - cannot fault. Deluxe water villas were a bit tired and really need a refurbishment - other than that great time in Kuramathi...

It is a small enough island to walk around.
It is a small enough island to walk around. The locals are extremely friendly - always saying hello.
There are 3 restaurants all along the west coast. Compass seems most popular. But all are good with same offering of food.
There is a fair amount of building going on at the moment as they gear up for more tourists.
We used South Ari Dive for our diving trips. They are professional and friendly.

You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than...
You need maximum 3 days to complete all trips, any more than that would have to be someone who loves water sports as these are the main activities in this country, anyways.
Bring a mosquito or any insect repellent, you will need these after a stroll on the shores or anywhere there are plants.
Also have an anti-nausea pill if you are the seasick type.
Taxis have a fixed price for each location, check that out.
Alcohol in the resorts is expensive but then again that's all you got.
Best to pay all meals or include dinner in your package as there are almost no restaurants outside, depending on the island, and if you find one it's either a chips or coffee spots.

It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there...
It was not my first time in Maldives and my experience there was disappointing compared to my previous trips in other resorts. The quality of service is poor and it’s a shame because the resort is lovely and the staff are nice but lack professionalism.

Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals.
Feridhoo is an island inhabited by locals. They are Muslims, so respect them and wear decent clothes when walking through the village. The island has 2 restaurants with good food and fair prices, one dive base (Noohiri) and one small shop next to Shifa Lodge. We came for diving and found an abundant maritime life. There are 2 beach areas, one at the east side with the best snorkeling ground, the other at north/west side with berths for relaxing.

A Wonderful Beach Holiday.
A Wonderful Beach Holiday. Necessary structure: shops and cafes are available. The ability to pay with a bank card, as well as in cash (USD, MVR). Good exchange rate in all places. I was pleased with both Mathiveri and Mathiveri Finholu: the beaches are clean, the sand does not burn your feet, and there is a comfortable "coolness" in the shade of the trees.

We enjoyed 7 days on the island. The rooms are very clean. The food is AMAZING! Everyone from staff are kind. The resort is sustainable, they try very hard to recycle and repurpose almost everything which is really nice. All inclusive is the smarter choice, trust me😄
The snorkeling is really fun! The whole island stands on coral reef and there is a lot to see! Maybe bring your own equipment, although you can rent. I don’t recommend the visit to the local island, nothing to see there
