The location is perfect, quiet and calm, but close to the center if you wanna hangout for dinner. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is incredible, always smiling and giving you advices or help to organize your activities in Chitwan National park. The park itself is gorgeous and the jungle walk is definitely one of the highlights !

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with exceptional hospitality. After a long journey, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and cold towels, and even picked up directly from the bus station—a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. Milan, the concierge, truly went above and beyond. He was the most attentive and caring concierge we’ve ever met, providing invaluable information before, during, and even after our stay. He took care of everything, from arranging free transport to the bus station and visits to the elephant breeding centers, to organizing our onward travel and bus tickets. His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. The owner and staff were exceptional. I was picked up at the bus. The location a short walk to the river and scenic spot. Tours were arranged especially the travel by local bus to Lumbini. Room clean with a balcony view of trees with a resident monkey. I ate the local high caste meal

We couldn't even dream of a better place to stay in Chitwan! We decided to go there without pre-booking any tour and it was the best decision. The hotel owner Assis helped us with everything from booking of the bus tickets thru pick-up from and to the bus station. He is very knowledgeable about the area and can help you set-up (and book) your program in a way that you can make the most of your time in Chitwan! He and his crew welcome you every time with a huge smile and the whole place feels like home! It's a nicely small hotel out of the main tourist crowd but still close (10min walk) from everything you may need (many advantages - it's more calm! maybe you can spot a rhino right from your terasse, and most importantly you will feel like a family member even with other guest). And the FOOD is DELICIOUS! Main pros to the chef Abi who was always incredibly kind and open to any tweaks that we needed (like low gluten etc...). Huge thanks to Hotel Happy land and we'll happily come back 💚

The place is just perfect for your stay in Sahaura! The room I stayed is basic but nice and clean, you can have hot water and mosquito net for bed. The family is so sweet, friendly and welcoming! They even helped me booking the bus to go to Katmandu and reaching the bus station the last day with the scooter. Super recomended!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. He picked us up from the busstation, arranged jungle tours for us, got our loundry done and booked a busticket back for us. The food was all very good and big portions. The room was comfortable and clean and the swimmingpool was also very clean! The location is beautiful, surrounded by mustard fields. Definitely recommend this place if you’re planning a trip to Sauraha!

I highly recommend staying at Jungle Safari Resort. Indeed this was a return visit having had a fantastic stay last year. Manager Sangam liaised with me before booking to plan a perfect itinerary. The hotel has very comfy large rooms set in an idyllic garden. Perfect location. The food is delicious, including packed lunches for our day safaris. Sangam, Sujan and all the staff were kind and paid attention to detail, such as providing a cold drink and fresh fruit when I arrived back after a hot day on safari. My jungle guide Gopal was excellent and full of information. He had guided me before and I specifically asked for him again. The accompanying guides Ram and Som were also excellent. I recommend doing both a jungle walk and a jeep safari to see the jungle in different ways. Definitely recommend you stay here and speak with manager Sangham in advance to book your safaris. He also arranged my travel from Kathmandu to Chitwan and then from Chitwan to Pokhara which was a great help.

The Lodge treated me like a valued guest and were willing to do things to accommodate my needs. They were always smiling and cheerful. The Lodge was across from the National Park so it was easy to do a safari, a bike ride or a boat ride. Thanks Guide Sagar for my 4 guided adventures where I was able to see a rhino with a baby, some gaur, a monitor lizard, lots of birds, elephants and deer. I will be back to find the tiger that we heard in the grass.

If you go to Chitwan you go mostly for jungle and to see wild animals pemsee tree town is the one of the best place to be.i had great experience in the tree house with jungle vibe. Living in the the tree house is just wow my dreams come true. I will highly recommend and I will come back again and again.

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
