Property was very clean and well looked after. Had a homely feeling. The staff went above and beyond to accomodate us even with our friend who was sick helping to organise transportation and provide breakfast outside of serving hours. Was very lovely

Not a luxury hotel, but great value for money. Nice and very friendly staff. The restaurant inside the hotel has very good food and they can organize all types of safaris, buy tickets for the buses to other cities or rent bikes. But the part we liked most was the garden in front of the room, which allowed us to wake up in the morning listening to all kinds of birds, despite being very close to the center of the village and the headquarter of the natural park. Very close, just walking 5 minutes, you can also see the place where the goverment have some elephants and one night we even saw a big wild rhino passing very close to the hotel street.

Incredible staff. The team couldn’t do enough for us, even waiting with us for almost an hour to make sure we got on our bus to Kathmandu. Incredibly kind and accommodating staff, great food, spotlessly clean and the hotel is in a perfect location, walking distance to everything but still on a very peaceful street. Would recommend anyone to stay here

Best place to stay in Chitwan. The hotel is very clean and the hotel manager is the nicest guy on earth. He helped to organize the tourist activities in Chitwan with really good jungle guides for us as well our ongoing travelling to India. He even brought us to the bus station and waited with us. Thanks again!

We spent two nights here in a beautiful setting – highly recommended to everyone! Everything was clean, peaceful, and calm. Despite our delay, the owner waited for us until midnight, helped us with the check-in, and arranged everything we needed for the trek and our visit to the national park. Wonderful people – always helpful and kind. Once again, thank you for the lovely time we had at your place – we’d be happy to stay again. Wishing you all the best... namaste!

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national...

The only reason to stay in Chitwan is to visit the national park, however, you can easily be ripped off by local guides and tour operators. Just shop around and remember that Jeep Safaris are a rip off because chanches of seeing any wild animal are extremely slim andyou end up spending 4 boring hours getting around the park. Make sure you know all options and talk to locals and tourist to find the best tour. I also recommend to visit the Tharu people site and see their dances, which is the best experience I had in this place

The location maps they point to are incorrect. It took me in the opposite direction. Even the mobile they provide is incorrect. I complained to the front desk staff to correct immediately so that the other client won't be misguided.

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by...

We had such an awesome visit to Chitwan, made even better by our stay at this hotel. Such friendly and helpful service throughout. We organised all our safaris through the hotel (which included lunch) if it was a full day, this was very handy. Often we’d be tired after the long day out on safari (lucky enough to see lots of beautiful birds and rhinos). Facilities were good, bed very comfortable and nice hot shower. We ate a lot at the hotel which was very tasty. Fresh produce! Most guests seem to be getting involved with the safaris so are up early this can mean it can be a bit noisy in the mornings, which didn’t phase us.

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4...

Make sure you visit the animal friendly project Stand Up 4 elephants! It’s free and you meet two rescue elephants ladies :) We did a full day jeep safari and a half day jungle walk+canoeing. We were lucky and saw a bear, a bison, wild elephants and rhinos. Lots of colourful birds, crocodiles, monkeys etc. but you need luck to see the big animals. It’s sad that it is allowed to ride elephants in the Nationalpark what is an absolutely animal crime and the idea of a Nationalpark is to protect animals and nature. Also, to make more money, they let start five jeeps with one or two guests in it instead of putting them together. So they need to make more efforts and be more eco friendly. It worth a visit when you are already in the country and have time. But two days are enough.

Gateway to safari’s either on foot or via Jeep. It township its self is a developing thriving hub with many restaurants, bars, tour / safari guide shopfronts. The riverside is peaceful with numerous animal sightings all day.

It was my second visit to Chitwan.

It was my second visit to Chitwan. I'll be returning again soon, to see more of what I haven't seen yet. I've, the crocodile breeding centre and the elephants. Plenty of places to choose from for meals. Easy to walk around the town, apart from where the streets are being improved. Plus, even when many tourists there, it doesn't seem crowded. Pleasant weather during my time there. Plus, I managed to see several football World Cup games, at different bars/restaurants.
