I was in this hotel for the second time. When you come to Nepal for trekking, normally you fly to Kathmandu. Here you can buy clothes and gear for the trek. This hotel is in central location in Thamel, where are the shops and restaurants as well. Only good things to say about the hotel; rooms, WiFi, breakfast and staff are excellent. There is even a scale in the reception to weigh your bags and yourself, too !

The hotel was in a fantastic location close to all the main sites in Thamel such as Mandala road. The rooms are clean and the beds were very comfy. The AC was strong too which is important! The staff were fantastic and could not be more helpful. Overall, for the price/quality ratio this place is perfect!

The hotel location was excellent. It is in the city center so nearby shops, restaurants and bars were very accessible. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful in all respects. The morning breakfast was excellent and I enjoyed it on all the days of my stay here. They provided airport pickup which made my first time in Kathmandu very easy. Would highly recommend the places in all respects. Will definitely be back here for another enjoyable stay.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, I enjoyed talking to them all and learning from the gurus too. I loved all the activities from meditation to pottery. The food was incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had especially the Biryani and Dahl Makhani The facilities were great. Huge rooms done really nicely. I felt relaxed and looked after the entire time I was there and was sad to leave!

The “garden of dreams” is a quiet green heaven in busy, dirty Thamel. The hotel is very active in environmental friendly solutions like providing free refills for your water bottles and separating waste inside the guest rooms with 2 different bins. In Nepal, both inDrive and regular taxi drivers can be tricky. They often charge more than double the normal price. With inDrive, after you receive a booking, they may call and ask for extra charges. If you repeatedly cancel bookings because you’re not comfortable, inDrive may even restrict your account. This caused a lot of trouble for us. I just want to remind everyone to be careful with taxi drivers and always make sure the cost or fare is clearly agreed upon beforehand.

It's been ages since I was in Kathmandu and I hear it's gotten busier. Bhaktapur is a laid back option--lots of history and lots of local life at the same time. It's a walking town for travellers and you learn how to instinctively avoid the scooters. Pretty much every building has a rooftop Cafe of some sort and the views are spectacular. There's a little hustle from guides for hire in Durbar Square but they're pretty knowledgeable and the hustle is very gentle. If you're not interested, you can politely refuse and that will be the end of it. Given a choice, I'd pick Bhaktapur over Kathmandu as a place to hang out.

Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch. Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly. The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene. Security staff very welcoming and professional. Very eager to come back to this property , I would highly recommend this hotel .

People in Kathmandu are friendly and helpful. The weather was fair for this time of year. A lot to see and take in. Shopping, eating all the very delicious Mo Mo soaking in Jhol. All the Temples, Shrines, breathtaking mountains views, and of course Mount Everest.

Nagarkot , lovely place to stay there, neighbours and villagers are very friendly, safe and secure. In every morning or evening, we walk around Nagarkot village to Nagarkot sunrise tower through pine tree forest. It has good viewpoints to snowcaps of Hamalia range, sunrise, sunset and community villages in valleys. In Nagarkot, we can have fresh meat, chicken, egg and milks all are fresh and tasty. There are a lot of restaurants nearby Nagarkot but enjoy cooking fresh meals , breathing fresh breeze, so nice of community life there. In some day , visit to Bhaktapur Durbar square by bus, and can go to several sites as day trip. Good to learn Tamang culture. For us, at least we want to stay at least 7 days but we found very late so we can only stay 4 nights. We will definitely come back Nagarkot
