Ibri is where the gravel plain which starts at the Saudi Border gives way to the first rocky escarpment as you drive East. The hotel is above a quiet clean, new shopping mall with Lulus, barber and food court. It couldn't be more convenient. All the rooms are on the first floor. We had the only 2 bedroom suite which surprised us with a washer dryer and big fridge freezer. Beds were super comfortable with great bedding. It was clean, well maintained and spacious. Breakfast was fresh food with cheerful, helpful staff. Good wifi. If you are driving from Saudi to Muscat this is a really good stopover. Wish we had built in time to see the fort, which looked fabulous clinging to a jebel, as we drove past.

It was trully one of the best accomodation on our travel in Oman. Hamid is very nice guy, who invited us with great dinner. We really recommend to order also dinner and breakfast, which is bot home made. Evening with beuatiful sky full of stars and amazingly quite morning will stay in our memories:) Robert and family

We had the best stay. Salman and his brother were very welcoming, took a great care of us, gave us great tips about the area. The place was very comfortable and clean, the food was very good, and the view stunning.

Great location with the nicest staff. We stayed 3 days and they allowed us to try 3 different rooms with free updates. While we discovered the area, they would help us transfer our luggage discreetly. From the grand chalet, we loved finding donkeys and goats right outside from the patio. Watched the sunrise. The sultan tent was beautifully decorated and huge. The standard room was super cozy and we would have been comfortable with staying there for 3 days. Loved Sama Heights!

We had an incredible stay at the Sunset House in Jabal Shams. The host (Mr. Mousa) went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. When one of our cars broke down on the way, he personally came to pick us up and took us to the villa in his own car. After taking us to the villa located on top of the mountain, he went back, took the broken car to a mechanic, and had it fixed! Not only that, but he invited us for lunch twice and was constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay. His hospitality truly made our trip memorable. The villa itself was comfortable, well-equipped and super clean beds and rooms, and the stunning views of Jabal Shams added to the experience. Highly recommended!
