We give it a 9 out of 10 (Why not 10? It's not really Oman,, but we knew that when we booked so no complaints!) Located in a fancy Marina area close to the airport it's the perfect way to start your vacation, if you're into a bit of a more classy vacay that is. Omani, walk around in their traditional cloths, as well as westerners (tourIsts & expads). The marina, is a stylefull (absolutely not authentic! ) place with some outstanding restaurants. The hotel is located in the middle of this semi buzzing area. As Muscat is one long stretched city it's impossible to choose a hotel which is near all 'must see sights', hence we opted for a hotel reasonably close to the airport and at the sea.. (Rent a car, it's super easy to drive) Parking is below the hotel 👌 The rooftop pool is not very big, but we had no issues securing space the 2 nights we stayed there. The hotel is good, you pay extra for the area I think, as all hotels we have been in in Oman have excellent service. Ooh an extra plus for smokers; there is a smokers room floor. Stay here to acclimatize and then go see the real Oman;)

Staff is just exceptional and very helpful ( e.g. Mr Lindon and Mr Satchii, Mohammed the driver and the breakfast staff).. They are very customer-orientated and always happy to help. I appreciated when hotel contacted me 24 hours in advance via WhatsApp and the driver too in order to organize my stay and transportation. The driver was perfectly there on time to pick me up. He drove very safely and was helpful. I was offered a nice suite with kitchen on the high floor. The room was spacious and had all the equipment expected. It was very calm and there was no noise from road or in the neighborhood. So, very relaxing time. The breakfast was fine for me. I was offered 2 extra hours for the check out. So, in summary a very nice hotel with great staff. A very good value (price & quality). I will come back here.

Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman.

Very impressed with our first visit to Muscat and Oman. Good hotels at good value and great food at great value. We rented a car from NAB rentacar which was delivered to the hotel. Didn't use taxis. Bought a SIM card from Omantel at the airport for use with our portable wi-fi router so we could navigate around ourselves. If you want a spectacular world class, 4x4 low range track up to Jebel Shams get the gps track from Wikiloc - Rustaq to Shams. Not for the fainthearted! Our Mitsubishi Montero Sport on worn factory tyres managed easily.

First day couldn't find a place to have breakfast in and we ended up searching for a mall and eventually having sandwiches at Starbucks No facilities for fun or family activities No decent restaurant but at malls and mostly expensive No facilities on beaches and the one in the most expensive compound Almouj is a clean beach but no showers or changing rooms or lounges

PERFECT EXPERIENCE ... will stay again First of all Mohamed property owner is the nicest person I have met, he picked me from airport and dropped me at the airport. from the time of booking he gets in touch with me on whatsapp. Property is 5 mins drive from airport best location possible. Room very clean, nice and tidy, had everything in it required for nice stay. I would recommend 100% this property and especially Mohamed. I will definitely stay again if I get chance. thanks. Everything was good. NO issues at all. very good communication.

Muscat is more authentic than places like Dubai and Qatar, and a lot more laid back. It isn't expensive (its a lot cheaper than Dubai) and there is a lot to do. The main mosque is very impressive and the day trips to the islands for snorkelling are good. The main souq is also very good

1) All the staff were most helpfull, however the language barrier caused a minor hic-cup with the room service when ordering from the menu in my room. Staff took it upon themselves to ad-lib with food subsitutions from the set breakfast menu, without informing the customers. It was eventually sorted out. 2) The water pressure in the shower was very low, could do with improvement. 3) The swimming pool was not available for use untill May 2024. Other than those 3 issues the hotel represents value for money. I would stay again, but make sure the swimming pool was available for use.

The country offers variety of attractions, landscapes and...

The country offers variety of attractions, landscapes and community. Each place is unique and captivating. The citizens are inviting and non-judgmental. They are willing to chat with you and give you tips on where to visit and where to eat etc. I NEVER VISITED A COUNTRY THAT SMELLS SO GREAT. Oman has a unique smell of oud fragrance from the airport into the streets, malls, hotels. It is a more relaxing Middle East compare to Dubai and other countries.

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center.

Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center. Nothing to see there. So not many tourists there. But it is developing. Quiet long beach but no infrastructure. You need car to get to the center! There is a lively street food market in the night where you can get great food for low price.
