My stay at Maitai Lapita was an absolute highlight of my French Polynesia trip. The hotel and bungalows are beautiful and have a very authentic feeling to them. The little beach and restaurant have the best views of sunset over Raiatea and breakfast was great. What made is most amazing was the extremely hospitable staff, especially Vaea, who was extremely helpful and organized very special activities for me. Her kindness and warmth will stay in my memory and I would love to come back one day :)

Amazing entertainment. You learn something new about the culture every night, so be excited for that. Tata is very kind and shows you the surroundings and their dances, cultural customs. She has a cute little daughter who dances beautifully too. Depending on the length of your stay you will learn how to make bracelets, flower crowns and how to open a coconut. Lovely hosts that keep you entertained.

This is an AMAZING place! I’ll recommend it to everyone coming this way. Claudio is a great host, we went to a boat tour with him - he’s knows a lot about the island and culture and loves to share. I’m dreaming of staying here again!
