The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – a great variety, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly courteous and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special thank you to one of the staff members (I guess it was Paivi) driven us to the customer office as there was no Taxi available. Thanks to their quick and thoughtful assistance, we were able to get to our customer meeting on time – which made all the difference. It's a nice place to visit for a day. You can always try and combine your visit there with a concert or something else. The harbour and surroundings are very scenic. The town is quite quiet and there a lots of restaurants & cafes to eat at. The area is undergoing a huge investment with waterside appartments. Many of the old fishing related properties are being repurposed. Good local shopping opportunities. We were here Monday - Thursday in late August so many of the eateries were closed during the week and only opened Thursday-Friday so we missed a few things that we would have wanted to see. It is a beautiful area, we hiked, picked blueberries and visited local farms to buy produce and cheese for our meals.
