Very friendly receptionist. Fantastic location if you need to get to the airport. Large and clean room and a bathroom. I truly loved my stay at the hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful, despite the fact that I could not speak Portuguese. The owner has really thought through every detail of a tourist's need, especially when it is your first time, and was always available if I needed help with translation or a ride somewhere. The location is also convenient, close to the city center, a couple of restaurants, and the airport. It was definitely one of my highlights during my stay.

Emoyeni Gardens a hotel with modern facilities you wish to have whilst on vacation on an island plus its lovely garden. I cannot recommend this hotel enough as it is located in a strategic location which means, it’s an easy access to the city centre if you like walking, beach, nearby restaurants esp (Papa Figo) which seem to be the most popular restaurant for all the tourist who were on our flight. A family run business which means Alex, her mum and the other staff go an extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Lastly, I enjoyed the breakfast and was made to checkout later than usual as I had a late flight to catch (Tap Portugal).

Located by the beach on Sao Tome Island in the Gulf of Guinea, Omali Lodge provides elegant rooms and free WiFi access.

Great value for money. Central location, good room size, A/C worked perfectly, clean room with good water pressure...nice balcony to watch the life below. The lady owner didn't speak English well but nothing Google Translate can't resolve. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On one day I found complementary pastries in my room which was a nice touch. There is a nice supermarket next door that has everything you may need. I was able to walk in the night to get some food. It is safer than it may look at night. Some guests have reported noise feom cars on the street...didn't really affect me as I always carry ear plugs. It is easier to wear them than silence the world. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.
