- From US$137.99 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsThe hotel is very good, small, so cozy. For breakfast you can choose 5-6 dishes from the menu, for example, something like full English, spring roll, pancakes, etc. There are also cereals, yogurt, croissants, jams, etc. You can take extra vegetables and fruits. Good coffee. I really liked the opportunity to go swimming right from the villa, literally a few steps. But I recommend taking swimming shoes, because there are stones. The beach is quiet, peaceful, if you want more people, you have to walk 15-20 minutes to the main street.Guest review byLeldeLatvia
- From US$49.46 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 143 reviewsThey have the best sunrise/sunset on Koh Mak thanks to their unique location. The room itself is very modern, with mosquito nets on the windows and doors, so you can sleep with open windows to the sound of the sea. Comfortable bed, the receptionist lady is very helpful with a big smile. The restaurant is nice but we mostly had breakfast here. The AC worked great. There is no beach but we prefer visiting as many as we can anyway, so it was no problem. There were a few bugs in the room, but it was manageble.Guest review bySandorHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 112 reviewsBeautiful view from the terrace and swimming pool. Resort is located on a hill and very, very quiet. Close to the "center" of restaurants and shops. Islanda staff is absolutely fantastic. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food - papaya salad, the best on the island:))They make You fell like You are in home. It was our second time in this place and we hope we will come back.Guest review byMichałPoland
- From US$92.74 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 367 reviewsThe room was Beach Front No.1 and the waterfront was 2m away! Perfect - the view was unbroken - the best view we’ve had from any hotel. Staff were amazing, able to organise our boat transfer and motorbike rental at the front desk. Bike was brand new and in turn extremely safe as nothing was worn. Location is away from the hustle of the main beach but we like that.Guest review byBeniUnited Kingdom
- From US$98.15 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 791 reviewsThis is a beautifully located property - the beach is clean and massive, perfect for swimming and kayaking (which they provide). The rooms were cleaned thoroughly and had a beautiful view of the sea. It was a luxurious break, and was possibly the best part of Koh Mak for usGuest review bySnehaIndia

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
