When there is a problem e.g. my safe didn’t work with a code anymore, it is quickly solved with a smile without making things to complicated. If the code doesn’t work use the key. It’s located on a square at which you can find many excellent eating opportunities, several coffee/tea places and an excellent massage called VSPA. It’s a little bit outside of the centre of Udon which but still within walking distance or a 60 bath Bolt ride from all landmarks. The airport is a 15 minute drive. A lovely town in the north-east of Thailand. Has many attractions for good quality food, both Thai and farang (including a number of high quality cafes), farang bars, a decent-sized Central shopping mall and multiplex cinema. There's a great night market area with thriving Thai food stalls, especially Train Night Market (near the station) and the nearby UD Town. Udon Thani is a good base for exploring Thailand's Isaan (North Eastern region) rather than being a destination in its own right. It has an airport with flights to Bangkok, Chiang Mai and a few other Thai destinations. Despite being styled Udon Thani International Airport, it does not currently field any international flights. The city has a reasonably compact centre with a Central shopping mall, a few foreign restaurants and plenty of Thai ones, as well as the usual Thai markets, street food and cafés. of course you need to drive/ride to the pink lotus lake in december/january if you are in town. It's breathtaking early in the morning when the flowers wake up with the sun.
