Excellent!! From the hotel lobby, to the rooms, to the buffet spread and the indoor playground for kids, everything was perfect. We took the Japanese style room & the view was perfect, overlooking Sun Moon Lake. Room was spacious, new and comfortable. Both dinner & breakfast buffet spread was perfect. Onsen was great too. Nothing to complain about.

Very nice hotel. Hav transport service to bring u to shui she harbour. The service from the staff is superb. Breakfast is very good. Hav buffet style and can also order from menu.

Luxury hotel. The main perks are the pool with hot water tubs outdoor. Bathtub in the room. Excellent diner and breakfast. Excellent chief of the dining room.

The location is close to Suishe Visitor Center where the bus drops visitors off. It's about a 20 minute walk with luggage but we asked the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at the visitors center when we arrived and left. You can also schedule ahead of time if you want the shuttle to drop you off at Suishe at other times. There was a large buffet breakfast that was quite tasty. The room was also very clean and we liked the view. There were many bikes to use for free to bike along the bike path. This is not a criticism (and Sun Moon Lake is primarily a domestic tourist location) but a FYI - if you don't speak Chinese, communication with the hotel staff might be a bit challenging. Some staff had a little bit of English language skills but that was not necessarily consistent. That's ok though :) just be prepared with some sort of translator app which is definitely useful in Taiwan anyway.

The best hotel we had in Taiwan. Room spacious and bright, perfect bathroom and fancy toilet. Large windows, good smell, wonderful bed, quiet.... Everything perfect and brand new. We loved it after our hard hike.

Stayed 2 nights at Hotelday Sun Moon Lake. The hotel is strategically located next to Sun Moon Lake and it is opposite the Wenwu Temple. The round the island public bus stop is also in front of the hotel makes it a very convenient place to stay. The hotel design is a mixture of modern contemporary and Chinese influences. Very cozy and comfortable. They provide breakfast and "supper" for most of the rate plan, however the "supper" has a very limited variety and it is only open from 8.30pm onwards.  The room was cleverly designed, with the shower and WC separated and the vanity was located outside.  My room was located at level 2, though there was a balcony but there was no view, blocked by all the trees. If you prefer to have room with view over the lake, you have to book higher floor otherwise it is as good as not having a balcony. There is a roof top bar on level 7. The view was amazing, minimum spend per person is required. Generally, it was a pleasant stay.

Set in Yuchi, 10 minutes’ drive from Shuishe Pier and Sun Moon Lake, Fantasy Palace offers accommodation in Nantou.

Austin at front desk spoke English very well and explained to me all i could do in area, even providing discount code for biking and extended check out by an hour so i could shower before a long day ahead of transportation. My room faced the lake and was amazing. The breakfast was one of the best during my vacation. I liked the shower and bath option that did not the rest of bathroom wet. I bought a bath bomb at 711 nearby and soaked after full day biking.

Great location, near bus stop and Shuishe pier. The breakfast is various and some menu is local food, you can try it. At the lobby, you can find tea shop (Ten Ren's Tea), nice to shop and drink the famous Sun Moon Lake or as you wish.
