Service location food facilities were excellent. Everything is taken care of including having towels available at the pools The night buffet was very good quality but the zen garden restaurant chefs menu was even better. The hotel also had a lot of free activities for guests which included hiking tour and craft activities . There's a free library for guests with lots and lots of books on lend.

Helpful and friendly staff, I particularly like the spacious and comfortable lobby, well decorated with Chinese antique, a quiet and comfortable library corner and a mini bar with free coffee and snack. My room was upgraded free to a deluxe family room, with good Mountain View. The free shuttle bus is convenient to commute to the train station. Everything in the room is clean and well-designed to suit the needs of a family with kids. Kids will never feel bored with the toys in the room and the children’s playroom on the third floor! Highly recommended for family vacations.

Loved everything about this place, especially the Osen bath in our hotel room. We planned to go to the outdoor onsen, but there was a lot of mosquito’s during this season so really glad we could have it right in the comfort of our room! The staff in this hotel have the best service attitude I have ever encountered. Friendly, professional and always willing to help. The hotel shuttle drivers were friendly and very punctual. We experienced the earthquake having breakfast and the service staff ensured our safety by evacuating us calmly and professionally…they must have felt scared and worried too. Kudos to the great service attitude! The concierge staff was really helpful throughout our stay, helping to book the shuttle van and responding last minute as we missed our train from Yilan. He also helped to carry the luggages down 7 floors as the lift were under review after the earthquake. Thank you so much! Great spread for breakfast and hotel provided free food for afternoon snacks and evening snacks. Loved these! The jacuzzi pool with hot springs water was very relaxing. One of the nozzle did not work and the lifeguard immediately responded and got it fixed! Great efficiency!

Location is secluded, up a hill top. Very good for relax stay. Good view. Friendly and helpful staff makes stay very enjoyable. This is the type of place one stays on location to enjoy the view and surroundings. Breakfast is simple but adequate, which I like after days of travel and oily food. The hotel has a fruit farm where you can get closer to nature.

It's always great to stay in a theme park, and we were lucky that during our stay this time, the theme park (National Centre for Traditional Art) extended their opening hour and had night time shows to enjoy. The breakfast was also phenomenal.

The major attractions and waterfalls in the area are not accessible yet due to the earthquake. There is no other attractions in the area except the hot springs. So a short stay is recommended until the waterfall trails open.

Nice enough city. Enough shops for choice of things. The Forestry Park, and The Sports Park excellent places to visit and relax. Good train service. Good coffee shops. Lots of places to eat, lots of choice. Easy city to get around. Good night market.

Great place for leisure and relaxation. The place has a laid back and relaxing atmosphere. People are accommodating and friendly. There are many things and sites to enjoy. I love the street foods, hot spring and the calm and peaceful ambience.

It is a quiet town and a walkable downtown area.

It is a quiet town and a walkable downtown area. The beach is nearby and a surfing mecca. Most restaurants close at 6 or 7pm and by 9pm the town is completely shutdown except 7 Eleven. Great place if you like the quiet town or just for surfing. If you prefer a vibrant nightlife or night market, JiaoXi or Luodong is better choice.

I went there because of the fireworks and it is spectacular.

I went there because of the fireworks and it is spectacular. There were a lot of stalls selling snacks, food, and craft works and there were beautiful lights along the river so while waiting for the fireworks, you can spend the time with a leisure and yummy walk.

Every morning we wandered along the paved roads of Sanxing...

Every morning we wandered along the paved roads of Sanxing flanked by farms and occasional B&Bs —scenic, peaceful, and almost comically quiet. I joked that we saw only one car every ten minutes. Naturally, we decided to put that theory to the test during our hour-long stroll… and to our surprise, the data backed me up. There are numerous scenic trails nearby. We were fortunate to witness the annual marathon. Having been to 17 marathons in the US, we were very impressed by the friendly vibes.

Jiaoxi is renowned for its hot springs. Quite a few hotel or accommodations provide onsite hot spring so that the guest can enjoy hot spring without going out. The hot spring park nearby also provides hot spring to the public to put their feet in. For bushwalking fans, Jiaoxi is good for walking tracks next to the town.

Always have a fondness for Ilan, Luodong is definitely a beautiful county for people to visit and stay for like 3~4 days. You'll love it if you also like the country life but not far away from the convenient city life.

Yilan city is a suburban area.

Yilan city is a suburban area. If you like to experience the countryside but not that far in the city, Yilan is very recommended. There are so much activities to be done and a lot of off the beaten paths are worth the visit.

I loved the quiet, small town feel. Everything was convenient & there were many restaurants to choose from. Waiao beach is also very near, which is awesome to surf at. Definitely want to come back whenever we have the chance!
