Everything! Wasn't Farm Fritz the surprise we weren't expecting. Road tripping along east coast and had to do bourbon trail so stopped in for some cost effective accomodation but now wish we stayed for longer! The whole area is lovely and this accommodation was also. Super comfy, clean and quiet. Free parking a bonus. Location was great.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was spacious and nicely decorated. The location is great and easy to access. Plenty of free parking, the breakfast was good. The pool and outdoor area was really nice and there were lots of chairs and loungers. The room was large and well appointed. Very comfortable beds, lots of pillows and very clean.

We were there less than 24 hours.

We were there less than 24 hours. In that time I was impressed and delighted with several places.... Our Hotel=Home2Suites Downtown Louisville NuLu (Lovely hotel, and the next 2 places are walkable, and the Palace is a short Uber away) The Last Refuge...don't miss this amazing bar/restaurant! (and Heaven's Door) I won't give away the details. Just go. The Pasta Garage (Cute place with yummy Italian food) Louisville Palace (Absolutely awesome)

I went for two days for a wedding.

I went for two days for a wedding. There is not much to do here. The nightlife is practically non existent and the antique shopping is not great. Apart from the large main road that runs through the city there is not much else except a bunch of fast food restaurants and chain sit downs. I tried what I think is a local restaurant called Toro. It is suppose to be a nicer Spanish restaurant. It wasn't bad but wasn't really great either and pretty expensive for what it was. The ambiance was not there or the quality, but the service was great. Everything also closes very early. The downtown is alright but again not really much to do. I enjoyed the Downing Museum although it is quite small. The arboretum is pretty and a nice place to sit and read but it was not exactly what I was expecting. I wasn't wowed by it and frankly it could use a bit of upkeep in some areas. Not a place I would take a vacation here, but if you are passing through the state and need a safe nice place to stay I would recommend it. I also would visit the Mammoth Caverns National Park. That was something I wanted to do but was unable as they are closed during this government shut down. I think that would be something to add to your must do list when in the area.

I was there on business, though I would have enjoyed a few days there. Fort Knox is close by. Jim Beam Distillery, Maker's Mark Distillery, and a few others. Not to mention the home of Kentucky Fried Chicken, Places I would love to have gone to.

Florence is a busy place.

Florence is a busy place. We chose it because it was in between Creation Museum and Ark Encounter and easy to get back on highway to head home. There is so much to do in the area, but it was over 90 degrees the day we arrived and the next day that we didn't get around to the Stringtown Park which was what I had planned for the first day we arrived. We could have stayed another week and not covered all there is to do in the area - if you want to deal with 71/75 and Cincinnati traffic.

Although we were there only for one night, we did wish we stayed another couple! The hotel amenities were the best in all the hotels we stayed in from East to West coast.... The Staff were top of the line and quite frankly, I wish they could give tips to others in the hotel world of how to treat guests..... Change nothing Paducah; you are already the best hotel... at least in my book....!

Very close to airport and short 30 min drive to The Ark Experience which was breathtaking. We are returning between Day after Thanksgiving to end of year for Christmas lights display. This hotel was a good deal. Amazing local place to eat, a must dining experience to go to is at Greyhound Tavern. You won't regret doing all these things.

The room smelled cleaned but the refrigerator had spots and should have been cleaned. The bathroom sink was cracked and should have been fixed. Overall the view was nice but I will not pay 256.00 dollars for that kind of room.

Amazing park on the river front.

Amazing park on the river front. Fun for children with lots of things to play on with plenty of seating for grown ups. the ground was covered with a soft cover to protect from falls. Very popular . Several other parks for a quieter peaceful respite. Plenty of shops and restaurants,

The views were amazing!

The views were amazing! Plus the small city had everything anyone would need. Restaurants close and wonderful! We ate at Sonny's and we were very happy with the quality, taste and price of our dinner! Unfortunately we were only passing through but we plan on coming back to this location in a few months to explore all the natural beauty that surrounds your exceptional city.
