- From $267.43 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very Good - What previous guests thought, 21,146 reviewsLocation is short walk to Times Square, hop on hop off bus stops and restaurants and convenience stores. The Port Authority bus terminal is one block away and the Newark Express stops right outside the hotel on arrival. The hotel offers free guided walks, which are very good, and they will even do small printing jobs for free. Happy hour ends at 7 at the hotel bar. The rooms are compact and a bit cramped for two, but contain everything you need. Safe deposit box, hair drier, desk, toiletries etc. WiFi was good. I had a queen room. I enjoyed my 5 nights there and would recommend it to anyone visiting crazy New York.Guest review byLindaSouth Africa
- From $323.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 3,361 reviewsLoved the decor, the thought and imagination that went into it all and loved the price because I did a lot of searching for hotel rooms in NYC and this was incredible value compared to most others. The room was lovely, the little balcony was great, coffee machine much appreciated and the actual telephone beside your actual bed which was actually answered when I used it to call reception - sadly you're normally directed to an app. So decor, quirkiness, comfort, human contact, all good.Guest review byAnneUnited Kingdom

New York is truly a city like none other.
New York is truly a city like none other. It’s wild, chaotic, and unapologetically alive. At times it’s crazy, a little filthy, and yes — it even stinks — yet somehow it all adds to its unmistakable charm and character. There’s an energy here that you simply can’t find anywhere else. The city has an X-factor that draws people from every corner of the world, each chasing dreams, stories, and opportunities that only New York can offer. Every street feels like a scene from a movie, layered with history and heritage waiting to be explored. The architecture is breathtaking — from timeless brownstones to iconic skyscrapers — each building telling its own story. The people move with purpose, always in a rush, yet somehow the rhythm of the city feels perfectly orchestrated. Love it or hate it, New York gets under your skin — and once it does, it never leaves you.Guest review byKanwal - 10.0

From the periodic information passengers were able to get my United flight to Portland Maine was repeatedly delayed and then cancelled because the plane would not be able to land once it arrived. Apparently the problems on 4 September were building up throughout the day. Before the flight from LA landed my daughter in Sydney, Australia messaged me to tell there were ”shenanigans” at Newark.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 2.0

Bronx is a good place but the house and all the shenanigans about no one picking the call but texting only. I thought it was a hotel not knowing it’s a house in some dark places in Bronx. I texted the person back that I’m not interested because I feel uncomfortable and have asked for a refund of $203. Shiiii….Guest review byPhilip - 10.0

We were traveling from central PA to visit the Statue of Liberty and didn't want to make the trip in one day, so we decided to get lodging the night prior to our day trip. We debated on whether to stay in New Jersey or New York. We searched for rooms and this motel in Jersey City seemed like a good choice. It was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop in Jersey City and felt quite safe. We passed many solo joggers, mothers with small children and bicyclists. The part of the city we were in was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised.Guest review byCornelius - 10.0

After landing at Liberty, we rented a car for our tours of NYC. Finding and paying for parking in NYC was a difficulty I could live without. Fortunately, most tolls were paid with the car rental agreement. The Secaucus location was perfect for driving, but the buses stop right outside the hotel. If it were available to guests, more information on bus routes to the City's main attractions, as well as details on paying for bus and subway toll passes and wheelchair accessibility, would be helpful and might change how a traveler chooses to get around.Guest review byReyesUnited States - 6.0
