Was exactly as described and an all around enjoyable experience. We we're entirely unaware we were among the first guests of their newly remodeled rental. It was everything we were looking for and a fantastic location just outside of town with incredible views. Absolutely would stay again and excited to see what they do with the place when its all said and done! Well worth the $$$ spent!

Peerless Hotel: A Charming Escape in Ashland for a Perfect New Year's Eve (or Anytime!) Make sure to check my I G lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more pictures and videos of the property and other travel recommendations. We recently spent a magical New Year's Eve at the Peerless Hotel in Ashland, Oregon, and it was an absolute delight. This boutique hotel offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort, making it the perfect place to ring in the new year, or celebrate any occasion (or simply relax!). Here's a breakdown of our experience: Location: -Ideal for a car-free vacation! The Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Lithia Park, Ashland Plaza, and everything we needed were all within walking distance. Perfect for exploring Ashland's gems on foot. - Nestled in a quiet historic neighborhood, it provided a peaceful retreat after a day of adventures. Ambiance: - Rich Victorian atmosphere with original woodwork, high ceilings, and antique furnishings. - Each corner is visually stunning, offering a luxurious and opulent feel. Rooms: - Only 6 rooms available, ensuring a personalized and intimate stay. - Rooms are beautifully appointed with fine linens, modern bathrooms, and thoughtful amenities like a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to toast to new beginnings. - Some rooms even feature fireplaces for an extra touch of romance. - And the pièce de résistance? Soaking clawfoot tubs! The luxurious touch adds a whole new level of relaxation to your stay. The hotel's rich history is a definite draw for tourists. Steeping in the past adds another layer to the overall experience. Imagine yourself surrounded by the echoes of Ashland's grand past. Amenities: - Free high-speed Wi-Fi and in-room coffee maker are a plus for modern travelers. - Private back parking lot with a Tesla charging station is a convenience for electric vehicle owners. - The self-check-in process is incredibly convenient, allowing you to arrive and settle in on your own...

We had so much fun there. We could listen to the ocean waves from inside the room or on the small balcony. It was an easy walk to the beach, and the sunsets were spectacular. We were able to save a little money by cooking our own breakfasts in the unit. It had a kitchenette complete with dinnerware,, pans and utensils.. The weather was cool and rainy so we didn't get in the water. We're looking forward to a summer or fall visit to spend more time on the beach. It was a great experience.

We loved the room, balcony, and ocean view from our room. We also LOVED the proximity to everything - beach, restaurants, coffee shop, and the e-bikes/dune boards we could rent for free. The king bed and jacuzzi was luxurious, and made for a fantastic mini honeymoon. Will definitely be back!

If you like seeing homeless camps along the freeways and wherever, Portland would be the place to be. It is dirty, littered everywhere, and homeless garbage strewn in places too difficult or unsafe to keep clean. Portland used to be pristine. Now it's known for its homelessness, needles, and garbage everywhere. Sad to see it looking so run-down. Town doesn't seem to care!

We were surprised how few Seafood places there were on the coast. Mo's was a highlight. We visited Mo's twice and both times the food was great! Most of the restaurants were Mexican or Chinese. Many of the fast-food places were old or dirty. Really enjoyed watching the glass blowers and visiting Connie Hanson Flower Garden!

Bend is a growing city that maintains both a social responsibility for residents, but the business retail community has higher prices on goods and products that forces consumers to move their purchases to online. I was interested in purchasing products (home furnishings) and reviewed a well known brand name product that was well over the normal retail price both online and at other retail firms outside the Bend market.

We enjoyed the location of Seaside to the beach and nearby scenic drive. It's a cute beach town with numerous shops and some excellent dining in the area. Being from the Gulf Coast, the beach was not impressive but it is just a short drive to Cannon Beach which is worth seeing. The locals were friendly and it was an easy town to get around whether by walking or driving.

Great walkable college town. The Shakespear Festival and sell out, so if you know you're going, get tickets ahead of time! There is some classical music, symphony and chamber that may be happening on any weekend. Esp. chamber music. Go for a walk in the city park downtown. There are also other hiking and outdoors stuff in the surrounding area. Downtown is great. Good bookstore. Movie theater has some indie films.

Unfortunately, coming in late October, in a driving rain and wind storm, we couldn't enjoy all that Astoria had to offer. We did enjoy all the small shops in the market area, but the place has so much to do, for everyone. Definitely needed more time to explore all the adventures this place has to offer.
