The location was perfect, the service outstanding, and the food—especially breakfast—was absolutely delightful. As a newly opened hotel, everything felt fresh, impeccably clean, and inviting. The room was equipped with a nice TV featuring Netflix, and the warm, personalised welcome from the exceptionally understanding staff made the experience even more memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Ms. V, Ms. Phan, Ms. Jay, and the rest of the friendly male/female staff whose kindness truly stood out. You all went above and beyond to make my birthday special—cake at midnight and during breakfast (with a nice song, haha) I’m so grateful for your thoughtfulness!

The location of the hotel is great. It is very close to the center and the main party street, but yet located in a small quiet street with very nice coffee and food options. The bed was really comfortable. The room is big and very cozy. It was very clean and the receptionists are very kind and go above and beyond to make you happy and to help when needed. I am highly pretentious when it comes to hotels, so I can say this one will not disappoint if booked.

So many to like about this hotel! In no particular order: 1. Room is designed very nicely. Quite picturesque aside from the lack of a nice view outside. Sufficient bathroom space with water heater on both the shower and faucet. Bidet is also there and toiletries and towels are complete. 2. Staff are very very friendly and helpful. They helped us carry our bags and provided us with everything we needed even if some had limited English-speaking skills. 3. Compound seems safe as they lock the gate outside every night. It's okay to be out late, you just need to ring the doorbell and the staff will open the gate for you. 4. Free laundry service is very helpful! You are allowed one basket of laundry daily. Just leave the basket ojtside the room every morning and you'll get it back at night. 5. Free breakfast was so good! You get eggs, baguettes, tea, coffee, juice, fruits, crepes. Shoutout to Ms. Fleur who served our breakfast with a smile and little anecdotes everyday. Geing the cook and server was also very helpful. 6. Location is very accessible. Walkable to the park and the Bui Vien Walking Street 7. Free 2 bottles of water daily! 8. Our flight out of VN was at 10pm and they kept our luggages for us. After a day of touring, they lent us towels and let us use the shower so we were fresh at the airport. They even gave us tea to bring with us!

The service was amazing and the location was in a garden of Eden. Rooms were beautiful and lovely size. They took into account that I was disabled and put us in a room on the ground level very close to the restaurant which was extremely appreciated. It was a birthday weekend for my wife and they meticulously planned everything with balloons and a banner in the bedroom on arrival and a beautiful cake. We all had a wonderful massage. The attention to detail made this five star hotel well earned write down to them waving and then uniformly bowling as the boat pulled away from the jetty. Nice touch. Wandering around the resort you would have no idea how big the place actually was because it was so overflowing with greenery. A Special shout out for Drew and Nhi who really went out of their way to look after us.

Ho Chi Minh City: An Energetic Assault on the Senses HCMC is... a lot. In a fascinating, exhausting, full-throttle kind of way. It’s not a relaxed vacation, but more of an experience. The energy is undeniable. The streets are a mesmerizing chaos of motorbikes—crossing the road feels like a mini adventure every time. The food is incredible, whether it’s a perfect bowl of pho from a plastic stool spot or a modern rooftop cocktail. The history, from the War Remnants Museum to the Cu Chi Tunnels, is heavy but important to see. That said, the heat and humidity are no joke—it hits you like a wall. The traffic noise and constant buzz can wear you down after a few days, and the tourist areas around Ben Thanh Market can feel overwhelmingly pushy. It’s a city of stark contrasts. You’ll see a gleaming skyscraper next to a worn colonial building, and a shiny café next to a street vendor grilling meat. It doesn’t always feel cohesive, but it’s never boring. Overall, I’m glad I went. It’s a vibrant, complicated place that makes you think and feel. I’d recommend it for a traveler looking for stimulation and culture, but maybe not for someone seeking a tranquil retreat. Pack your patience, comfortable shoes, and an appetite.
