Furthermore the employees are all very kind, helpful and doing an amazing job! I also asked for laundry service in the morning and had all fresh clean clothes in the afternoon back.

Room was clean and spacious. They also got a generator so you won't be botherd by loadshedding.
We had our breakfast by the beach at Beachcomber bistro (were they offer vouchers if you don't eat at the B&B), and it was good.
Owners were nice and helpful.
I would recommend staying here.

SingaporeLocation: very near to the Boulders Beach penguins; there was a side gate that leads directly out to the boardwalk next to the visitor centre about 1 min away. Perfect spot for an early morning walk to see the penguins.
Facilities: the room was spacious and cosy and there was a good smart TV with Netflix/Youtube. Bathroom was well furnished with a bath tube and amenities. Bed was good.
Service: Staff was friendly and attentive the moment we entered and service was impeccable. They provided lot of good recommendations of Simon’s Town. Breakfast was awesome with a view of the bay.

We stated between 3 and 4 p.m. to check in, but were already in Simons Town at 11 a.m. The friendly man called 'Wonderful' gave us a warm welcome and said early check-in wouldn't be a problem at all. He helped us carry our luggage up and showed us to our room. We were speechless. Perfectly and tastefully decorated, sparkling clean, equipped with everything your heart could desire and with an incredible view of the ocean, we were just overjoyed. Finding accommodation like this is like winning the lottery. The breakfast also left nothing to be desired. Fresh fruit salad, muesli, yoghurt, yes, you could even order a warm breakfast from Nikkita. Eggs in different variations, bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes were available to choose from. Simons Town Guesthouse goes the extra mile to provide guests with a unique experience. Everything was just perfect thanks to the tireless efforts of Nikkita and Wonderful. Thank you both very much.

With not too much rooms in the accommodation (6) and having a professional staff and being comfortable place it gives you a feeling of being at home and being a real guest instead of a number.
The owner has a little chat with you if you want and she is happy to tell you about the nicest restaurants or walking routes close by.

Such a lovely home cooked breakfast with a good selection of continental elements and your choice of hot cooked options.
Gillian was so helpful and even allowed me to keep my bags safe at the property after I had checked out while I was on a day trip.

If you have a rental car, then you have the perfect spot. you can go around short distance to Penguin beach, beach close to the guest house, the Navy museum etc. It is a small town to relax for a day or two.

Muizenberg is a relaxing surf beach with a few nice coffee shops, restaurants and surf shops , within walking distance of St James and Kalk Bay. It’s close enough to travel into Cape Town central in half an hour but far enough to have a totally different vibe

What I liked most is the on suite toilet the tranquility of the place, the neatness and the comfortable bed.
What I did not like was the fact that there was very little space for our food and drinks., maybe just to invest a small freezer or get another fridge., but otherwise place is awesome.

Kalk Bay is a perfect getaway for those who appreciate the finer things in life-wonderful restaurants where you are spoilt for choice, friendly locals, spectacular views of the ocean and surrounding hills. The working harbour with its fresh fish on display is really great. Lucky's fish and chips in the harbour complex is a must-including Bootleggers, The Portuguese restaurant-etc, etc! An eclectic mix of different cultures give this little gem a vibrant, welcoming hue-could happily live here!

Clovelly is a lovely quiet area in between the quite lively and noisy suburbs of Kalk Bay and Fish hoek, but only a short walking distance away from them, (about 15 minutes walk) So nice if you want to have peace and quiet while you sleep. Clovelly and fish hoek beach are really close, and the nice restaruants in Kalk bay also close. There are lovely mountain paths you can walk down and hikes right out of the back garden. Lovely sunset view from the flat.

We had a fantastic time staying in Simon’s Town—such a charming coastal gem! The location is perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula, with easy access to Boulders Beach and its famous penguins, as well as breathtaking drives along the coast. The town itself has a peaceful vibe, friendly locals, and some great little cafés and restaurants. Our accommodation was lovely—clean, comfortable, and with stunning ocean views that made every morning feel special. It’s the perfect base for nature lovers and those looking to unwind by the sea. Highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting the Cape!

Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.

Fish Hoek is quite a busy town with several supermarkets to pick up groceries; Woolworths is excellent. And the town is nicely located on the coast for easy access to both east and west coast resorts - and Cape of Good hope, too. Excellent coast path enables you to walk to other beaches - my wife and I walked to Muizenberg, a very enjoyable stretch!

Very impressed with Kalk Bay.
Very impressed with Kalk Bay. It’s been great seeing the progress in five years in terms of the upliftment of the area. Village was clean and we took the train in to CT central which was great! Loved walking to Muizenberg beach and we did an early run to Fishhoek. Never felt unsafe. Will def be back.
