The breakfast was a typical Icelandic breakfast. They had little extras though like homemade rhubarb and orange lemon jam. Also they had a tea that was made from a herb that is found around there.

Everything was just great, the food, the staff, the rooms,…!!! The cows were so cute and you’re always allowed to cuddle them. Our stay there was just perfect and the location around myvatn is fantastic!

- We were in the Laugar area for 2 days, day 1 of 2 was at Guesthouse Hvítafell and we spent the 2nd day here. - This has been the best stay so far on the ring road. They seem to be doing everything right. - The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. The house has a nice fully equipped kitchen in the sunroom which feels so good to be in. - The hosts left us a small plate of cakes and cookies which were so good, thank you for that. - Easily accessible and quiet place to be.
