This 4-star superior hotel is located in the heart of Traunkirchen and offers two restaurants, a spa area with an infinity pool and lake access with a private swimming area. A high-standard hotel – clean, well-maintained, and pleasant. The spa is excellent, with spacious relaxation areas (actually two different rooms), various saunas, and a beautiful infinity pool. The location was marvelous, the staff were were extremely friendly especially the receptionist called Nadine. In the evening, we had the dinner in the restaurant and the staff were unbelievably welcoming. The morning there was a guy that the smile never left his face and a lady with a little girl who we assume as one of the owners was extremely welcoming. The rooms given to us were extremely spacious. We loved the stay in the hotel and will definitely visit again

The first thing I'd like to say is that everything was very clean. Even the obviously old items were clean and bright. We really enjoyed that. Our room overlooked the river and mountains, and it was truly breathtaking. The room was cleaned and the towels changed on our second day. The breakfast, included in the price, was very good. The omelets were especially delicious. The staff were very friendly and helped us with anything that would make our trip easier. If you're traveling by car, the property has parking. The location is a reasonable distance from Hallstatt. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, I definitely recommend this place.

Αυτό το ξενοδοχείο στο κέντρο του Altmünster ανακαινίστηκε τον Μάρτιο του 2017 και απέχει μόλις 200μ. από τη λίμνη Traunsee και τον παραλίμνιο δρόμο περιπάτου. Everything was just perfect 👌 Will be back again for sure. I recommend staying in this hotel.

Offering panoramic lake and mountain views, Seehotel Schwan is located directly on the main square in the centre of Gmunden, only a few steps away from the shore of Lake Traun. Very good location in the very center of Gmunden. Perfect view of lake Traunsee. Very good breakfast with lake view.
