The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. We had a really good stay, unfortunately only for one night. Was so good to walk into a bright airy clean room, with everything you need for a lovely break by the sea. Even had a balcony with a view. Just what we needed. After staying at several not so good places. Thank you ladies. Anyone looking to book, you won’t go wrong!

All I can say is that Thala Beach Nature Reserve is fabulous and if you love nature and natural beauty I highly recommend it as the perfect place for a quiet or romantic get-away.

The apartment was very nice and comfortable in a good location to walk to the main street or the beach very easily. It was nice to have space to spread out and to cook our own meals.

Just a 1 hour drive from international Cairns airport, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Port Douglas boats a prime location as the only beachfront property to the Famous Four Mile Beach. What is there not to like at the Sheraton Grand Mirage! This is a 5-star facility with an endless supply of fun and comfort. We left the first hotel we had reserved on Booking.com because it was a disaster and filthy. We decided to sperge on the Grand Mirage, and we were so happy that we did. This is a true resort-style accommodation. There were so many pools we did not even see all of them. The rooms were fully stocked and fit our family of 4 perfectly. The restaurants were all first class, and the staff was all amazing. My son and I golfed, and we all swam all day. It was the most relaxing part of our 2-week trip to Australia. We were so happy that the first hotel was so bad, making us move to the Sheraton.

Lovely piece of well kept property with all the amenities like pools, BBQ etc. Staff at reception were very welcoming and helpful.

Bay Villas Resort offers spacious studios and apartments just 8 minutes’ walk from Port Douglas town centre. Most apartments overlook the resort-style swimming pool and barbecue facilities. The pools were perfect for a refreshing swim and were never crowded.

Lovely family run motel with spacious rooms, free parking, and an easy 20 min walk, or 3 min drive to the downtown area of Port Douglas. Lady at the front desk is especially lovely and made us feel extra welcome. Had everything you needed to cook a meal in the kitchenette in your room, including an electric pan that you can cook up a meal on, and utensils for cooking. Beach towels were free to use for the day and you could take them on your reef tour and return them when you were finished. DVDs were available to borrow at the front desk to use in your room which I thought was a very nice touch! Beds and pillows were super comfy. Location was quiet and tucked away from the main road. A/C was turned on for us before our arrival and did an excellent job.
