It has all the amenities you require, however if you have 2 suitcases, it difficult to open it :) 2. Bathroom - clean and spacious 3. Staff - very friendly. The staff invited us for free drinks at bar in the evening. 4. Location - excellent. It is central and right on the water. You can enjoy your meals at the balcony and enjoy the views. 5. Breakfast - it was fresh and tasty. 6. Value for money - a bit at the expensive side but it is due to quality and location.

I went in Oct and trip advisor suggested I was taking a risk as weather could be bad. I wanted to experience being above the clouds and or view of town from the mountain. I took the risk and it totally paid off. The view of mountain peaks sticking up in blanket of clouds was amazing. Although, you can do a day trip but you would miss the sunrise and sunset experience from the top. The dinner as well as the view from my room was amazing as well.

Hosts- Yvonne and owner Isabella were very warm, welcoming, helpful in making reservations. We were able to pay for street parking through the Bed and Breakfast, which was less expensive than the usual rate. Breakfast was plentiful. There is a small communal frig available to store a few items. Everything -the room, bathrooms, eating areas and outdoor areas were kept extremely clean. Our room was made up every day, which is not always the case for a BnB property. The owner arranged for a breakfast for our final departure morning even though we were leaving earlier than the time breakfast was offered for guests at the property. Public transportation is just a block away and is included in the rate for staying in Lucerne. This is a safe location, set amongst stately homes, built 100 years ago, located only 10 minutes by tram from the old quarter of Lucerne. Very easy to navigate. I would recommend this property for couples, families, single travelers of all ages; it is quite comfortable for visits of multiple nights. The location is very good to travel outside the city to see outlying towns or mountain areas. We would definitely come back to the Bed and Breakfast.

The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. This was my third time staying at this lovely hotel. Prime location, friendly staff, and very good breakfast. Best hotel in Luzern in my opinion. I would like to thank Mar Margaret at the front desk and Mamu Dahy at the villa restaurant for making our experience exceptional! I have celebrated my birthday at the hotel with my family last year and this year too, and I can't wait for my future stay at this great hotel.

Opening in December 2016, BoutiqueBoutique Hotel Anker is located in a historical building in the centre of Luzern, right on the Pilatusplatz square. The overall experience was excellent. The staff especially Linda at the reception was exceptional in the way she helped us plan our stay. The location is spot on to visit the old town. The rooms were comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was brilliant. 10/10

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The breakfast was healthy:: Good choices Freshly cooked :: Everything was light and fluffy Best omelette I had ::Being a vegetarian I had many choices :; They met all my dietary requirements:: The waiting staff were very helpful and they gave good service with a smile 😊 thank you 😊
