One of the most wonderful trips ever!! Ximena made me feel like family!! She is an absolute gem and always made me laugh! When I had to leave, I actually cried the night before and also in the morning when I was leaving and hugging goodbye because I was going to miss everything - from Ximena greeting me with her delicious plates of fresh fruit each morning, sweet Ruby and Bella (dogs) keeping me company each evening out on the terrace, Botas the cat coming around to say hello, the rooster outside in the yard behind our rooms serving as my early-morning alarm clock a few times (that was actually funny!), and my favorite of all - the sweet little bird in the tree each morning singing, “Beeeeeeeeep!” ☺️ The property sits on a hill and the rooms (there are four) are built up in a treetop-style loft. There is a spacious outdoor community-style kitchen where you can cook your own meals if you’re on a budget or don’t feel like going out to eat every night. There is a supermarket and pharmacy right next door. There is a large terrace outside of the rooms with tables where you can sit, relax, enjoy breakfast, or read a book to unwind after a day at the beach. The rooms are spacious with a minibar and a wooden armoire to place your belongings. Beach towels are graciously provided. I absolutely loved this place! I did NOT want to leave - ever. Also, it’s a ten minute walk to Brasilito beach and a twenty minute walk to Playa Conchal, one of the most beautiful beaches you will ever visit. Offering a restaurant, Azul Hotel & Retreat is located in the beachfront area of Playa Azul. Free Wi-Fi access is available, as well as free breakfast service. Service and food was excellent! Sebastian at the front desk was amazing! You are lucky to have him.

The beachfront Hotel el Velero boasts an outdoor pool and a private beach where you can choose to swim, lounge or relax. This was by far the best Hotel I have stayed iCosta Rica! Right on the Beach 🏝️ superb Staff ….if I come back to Acosta Rica I will for sure stay at this hotel again!!!!

Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff that was super accommodating. Facility was well maintained. Easy walk to the beach and many local restaurants. Fantastic live music and most nights!

Conchal Hotel is a small family-run boutique hotel, situated in the rustic pueblo of Brasilito in the province of Guanacaste, on the north Pacific “Gold Coast” of Costa Rica. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Conchal! 🌺 The highlight for me was definitely the dinners – the food is absolutely amazing, full of flavor, and the portions are generous. The garden is beautiful, full of plants and greenery, which makes the atmosphere so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The property is very clean and well maintained, and my room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and cozy – exactly what you want when traveling in Costa Rica. Overall, I was really impressed and felt well taken care of. I totally recommend Hotel Conchal to anyone visiting the area – it’s a gem! 💯✨

LOCANDA SAMARA BEACH is set in Sámara, 37 km from Nicoya. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. It was an amazing property right on the beach. Beautifully decorated and very lush. The pool was a wonderful area with the comfiest loungers ever. Food was all great. Beach loungers lovely too
