Opening to a balcony with lovely views to the sea or the hotel’s lush gardens, the units at Akti Taygetos - Conference Resort feature minimal decor and soft colours. They are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, mini fridge, safe, hairdryer and air conditioning. Free toiletries are also included. So, the hotel was really great, and we even got a free upgrade. Everything was brand new, very modern, and the room had a beautiful view of the sea. The room itself was really comfortable, with a huge window, and the service was especially attentive. We really liked it because even the TV channels were available in German, and we were welcomed with a small bottle of wine and two bottles of water, plus all the toiletries. There was also a beach bag, and I especially want to mention that the breakfast was wonderful, with lots of delicious Greek specialties and a wide variety of options for every taste. The spa was also fantastic; I treated myself to a massage, and the quality was very professional and excellent. The beach that belonged to the hotel was also lovely, with a great view, and overall, I can only recommend it.

The property is non-smoking and is set 200 metres from Methoni beach. Great location ..close to castle, square and beach. Host was exceptional. Nicos was informative, friendly and accommodating. Our breakfasts were lovely. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. A great experience for us.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. We had such an amazing stay at this hotel that we had to book a 2nd night simply because we didn't want to leave. The rooms are comfortable and clean, view is amazing, breakfast is tasty. But the best part is the owner- who is so nice and carrying about her guests, we felt so welcome and taken care of. Very highly recommended!

Located in the historical town of Methoni in Messinia, Achilles Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Venetian castle and 150 metres from the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and a bar that serves in the shaded courtyard. The property is relatively new , very modern , light and airy with spacious rooms. It was spotless clean in all areas and the reception were always very informative. It was on one of the main streets but was very quiet and away from the livelier front part of the resort. That’s was safe parking to the rear. Tabernas and bars were a five minute stroll away in either direction. It is one of the nicest stays we have had in travelling Greece for over 20 years. !!
