I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

The property offers barbecue facilities and parking on-site. Location is amazing, the cottage is very charming and the host was super friendly and responsive.

This place was incredible. Everything from the jaw dropping views to the small details, like robes in each room, was over the top. You can tell the owners have put their love into what they do. Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. From Laugarfell you have access to many hiking trails and you are close to the road leading to Askja. Laugarfell is accessible for all types of vehicles. Amazing location and great dinner and breakfast! The hot pools were so nice!

Although it is on the small side they have done an excellent job of making everything as comfortable as possible. Everything is well thought out and made for a comfortable 1 night stay. Loved the duck lamp!
