Pradeep (owner) was the highlight of my stay, such a kind man who took me on a little private walking tour of Patan to show me around the maze of hidden corners and gave me so much history on the place. He even offered me a home cooked dinner to try different Nepali specialties, and in general was attentive to my every need. His father was a sweetheart as well. The room itself was much bigger than I expected, lovely, and clean.

Our family of four (two adults and two teenagers) from Australia stayed at Apsara Boutique Hotel before and after our EBC trek, and it truly felt like a calm and comfortable base in busy Kathmandu. The rooms were spacious and spotless, and the King Room with Mountain View offered nice glimpses of the hills beyond the city. Another thing what impressed us was the way the hotel supported our trekking plans. The night before our flight to Lukla, the weather reports started looking uncertain. We were nervous, but the front desk staff immediately offered to help us contact our trekking agency and even helped rearrange our early morning transport. Their local knowledge and calm support really reassured us. They also stored our excess luggage safely during the trek and had it ready in our room when we returned, tired but happy after 12 days in the mountains. If you are trekking in Nepal and want a hotel that understands the needs of trekkers: early breakfasts, flexible check-ins, and helpful logistics, Apsara Boutique Hotel is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for families and adventure seekers alike!

El Shambaling Hotel ocupa una encantadora casa reformada de los años 70 situada en unos jardines paisajistas preciosos. The garden Rooms are an oasis. Breakfast is great. Staff outstanding and very trustworthy. Allowed generous late check out. Even later for a low fee! Reasonably close to the airline so quick drive. Does mean you can hear the planes. But I’m a light sleeper and they seem to not fly over at night.

The location is very central but the place is calme ! Beautiful surroundings and clean with fab restaurants around. The team are so helpful and accommodating. Mr Lama who manages the hotel is absolutely amazing. Comfort is top ! I recommend without hesitation

El Karma Boutique Hotel se encuentra en el distrito de Thamel, en Katmandú, a 1 km de Hanuman Dhoka. El establecimiento alberga un restaurante. I had a great time in this hotel. Clean, hot shower (glass door shower!), great light in a room. I enjoyed the hotel so much that I booked it again in the end of my trip to Nepal! Hotel personnel is SUPER FRIENDLY. They helped me with my needs, booked taxi! I also enjoyed the breakfast which was included - it was filling and tasty! I strongly recommend this place!
