Loved our stay in the desert camp! We were upgraded, the tent was clean and well-equipped, and the food and service were excellent. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the owner was wonderful and assisted with everything (I even forgot my cap, and the owner kindly drove all the way to the highway so I could get it back. Truly amazing service!) Highly recommended!

Thousand Nights Camp is located in Shārqiyah. Some units are air conditioned and include a seating area with a flat-screen TV.The tented camp offers an outdoor pool. The beds were so comfortable, the food was exceptional. The staff were outstanding. Ruben at reception was very helpful, as was Aziz who drove us around the camp.

At our arrival, we were properly and warmly welcomed, the staff explaining everything to us and being super kind and friendly. The property was exceptional and the whole experience was unforgetable. Absolutely worth the money.

Surrounded by the high sand dunes of Oman’s desert, the eco-friendly Retreat Camp in Sharqiya provides authentic, Arabian-style accommodation in tents. We spent 2 nights here so we could experience the desert through the 24-hour cycle. The sleeps were warm and comfy, the meals tasty, and service impeccable from Assad, Joel and Joce. The owner Hamid, is a hardworking 15-year desert tourism veteran, and had lots of tales. Campfire and meal times make for great conversations with other guests. We paid OMR25 for the 25-min return 4x4 transfer from Bidiyah, and OMR10 per person for camel rides and dune bashing, both loads of fun. This is a licensed camp, which uses largely solar power and pumps up water from a 150-metre well.

We spent 1 night at Desert Nights and it was amazing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are beautiful and clean, the food is good/has a lot of variety , and the activities are very fun. We did ATV riding in the desert and had a great time. The property is beautiful and well maintained. Would highly recommend!

Sea view: magnificent We used it as a transit hotel from Wahiba Sands (via Wadi al khalid) to Wadi Shab and served its purpose perfectly. Right next to the road (didn't hear car noise btw perhaps as we had sea view). Spacious room. A restaurant neighbouring the hotel was good (and very affordable as well). Don't expect a 5 star hotel (duh because it isn't). Breakfast is good (considering the price once again). We can absolutely recommend this for the price.
