Minshuku Asogen, a property with a garden, is situated in Aso, 29 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, 38 km from Kumamoto Castle, as well as 38 km from Suizenji Park. The property is located 39 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, 8.8 km from Mount Aso and 29 km from KK Wings. The ryokan features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The food was amazing - traditional Japanese style but on a fancy side. The place had everything needed there. There was hot water all the time, room had private toilet and sink. We loved kotatsu, as the day was cold and it was pleasant to sit around it and get warm. All the staff were amazing, very helpful, very polite and professional. The onsen was also great, it is simple onsen and there are 4 private rooms to choose from. Water was just perfect.

Situated in the centre of the Kurokawa Onsen Area and boasting a total of 8 indoor/outdoor hot spring baths, Nanjoen offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. The staffs were always available, smiling and ready to help when required. We were served like king during our stay there. We highly recommend this properly after having an enjoyable and pleasant stay at this ryokan.
