This was literally the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It was so tranquil and beyond relaxing. Every detail on the property was meticulously thought through, the service was impeccable and the food was AMAZING! I only wished we could have stayed longer.

Ryokan Asunaro: A Traditional Japanese Inn in Takayama. Nestled just a 6-minute walk from Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Center, Ryokan Asunaro offers an authentic Japanese inn experience. We went as a group and we loved the ryokan. It was very spacious, everything was very clean, and it was conveniently located near the bus station, the train station, and the city center where most of the shopping takes place. The rooms were the most spacious we stayed in throughout Japan, and the staff were all very kind. I would definitely stay here again.

We are very happy to stay at a really Japanese hotel, and experience Japanese culture. All the staff there are so helpful and wonderful. Everyone can communicate with the guests very well. I really thank you for all the experience here.

Located in a 100 year-old Registered Tangible Cultural Property, Ryokan Hostel K's House is located in Shizuoka, a 7-minute walk from JR Ito Train Station. Everything. From the big, traditional room with view to the river to the friendly staff and relaxing onsen. I had read the reviews that it could get noisy as some guests aren't as quiet. But it was perfect for me. Relaxing, simply perfect.

Very beautiful place and nature around! The apartment is very cozy and big. The bedroom is in traditional Japanese style with comfortable beds,we loved it. The onzen directly in the apartment is great! It is very relaxing and beautiful place. The food in the restaurant is very traditional and unique —> for western people: might be challenging,especially with kids. But we really enjoyed it!

Το 横川温泉湯殿ととのゆ είναι σε Shimoda, σε απόσταση 33 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Koibito Misaki Cape και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

Το Syukaen Yunohanazen διαθέτει καταλύματα 4 αστέρων στον προορισμό Atami, 1,2 χλμ μακριά από Παραλία Atami Sun Beach και σε απόσταση 27 χλμ από Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Hakone-Yumoto. Two different hot spring baths, nice spread of food served to room for breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff but a bit weak on speaking English.

Το Hakuunsou, στον προορισμό Τακαγιάμα, προσφέρει δωρεάν WiFi σε όλους τους χώρους του καταλύματος και θέα στο βουνό. A great host, with a very worm hospitality. A beautiful place with private onsens. The meals were amazing! We stayed for 3 nights and we highly recommend :)

Το Iroriyado Hidaya είναι σε Takayama, σε απόσταση 1,6 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Σταθμός Takayama και διαθέτει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. The staff of Iroriyado Hidaya was exceptionally friendly and helpful, also with regard to our kids; their genuine kindness and hospitality is a memory we will treasure. Using the traditional clothing and onsen was also a one of a kind experience. With our rental car the ryokan was a good exploration base for the surrounding area. And there is a really good authentic restaurant around the corner. If we got a chance in the future we would definitely come again!
