Rita and Giuseppe are truly exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. Their hospitality is second to none, combining professionalism with genuine care. The hotel’s location is superb, just a few meters from the lake and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants, a supermarket, and a pharmacy. It’s also within walking distance (about 3.5 km) from Locarno. The village itself offers a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, making it an ideal place to unwind. Breakfast is elegant and delicious, featuring fresh seasonal fruits and a thoughtful selection of options. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality.

Wanda was a very nice host. Very easy to contact. Responded quickly when we send a message. We were participating Swissman Extreme Triathlon. And for us as a team it was a perfect place to stay. Not cheap but worth the money. It was calm, 1km to the T1 and registration, excellent airco and it was super clean. If I would ever race Swissman again I would book the place without any hesitation.

The apartment has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable and easy to live in. There are impressive views from the large balcony over the Alps. Lake Maggiore is about ten minutes walk from the property, and there are shops and supermarkets close-by. The bus and boat connections to the many places of interest around the lake are excellent. Alex, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful, and did all he could to make our stay so enjoyable. We will deffinitely be going back.

Location was great for Ascona, kitchen was well stocked so all you'd need for a simple breakfast was maybe some cereal or eggs. Theres even butter and milk in the fridge. Bottle of wine in the fridge was a really nice touch as well! No noise problems during my stay. Communication with host was good enough. Room was plenty of space for two people.

Everything was crystal clear from the messages I received from the host. The apartment was bigger than we expected, and even though one room serves as a living room and has no door, one does not have to cross or enter it to get to any other room like the kitchen or the bathroom, so we did not disturb each other.
