Set in Locarno and with Piazza Grande Locarno reachable within 700 metres, Villa Rossella offers a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. The hotel (actually a charming villa) was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. The lady at the reception 🥰🥰🥰 was very friendly, welcomed us with complimentary chocolates. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out. Perfect location in the very center of central Basel, right on the Marktplatz. This is now my go-to hotel for whenever business or leisure travel takes me through this part of the world. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff, a super cafe (popular with locals as well as guests: you're going to need to book if you want to have Sunday brunch there...), and very comfy beds with the most comfortable pillows I've ever slept on in a Swiss or German hotel. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price.

Quality was amazing breakfast was great, rooms were perfect, and the staff was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! We were there as a family for the migros grand prix finale and they were so accommodating and helpful, we cannot thank them enough ! They made our weekend fantastic 👏
