The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. After I let them know about my work commitments and schedule, Connar would kindly light the stove in advance so that I returned each day to a beautifully warm and cosy space — so thoughtful! The apartment itself was the real highlight: very spacious, well-appointed and equipped with plenty of facilities (though there’s no dishwasher). It was also in a great locatation within easy driving distance of Athlone and other local sites such as Clonmacnoise. Highly recommended!

It would be unfair to compare a farm to a hotel. That said, my stay was great! The house was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet is outside the building, but it's private because it belongs to that unit only. The showers are shared, which wasn't a problem at all — the bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. It's excellent for kids — my son was delighted!

Los colchones muy cómodos. Fácil acceso y zona para dejar el coche. A la llegada sin ningún problema, recogimos la llave en un box que hay en el lateral derecho. Sin duda, si tuviera que volver a Athlone, volvería a esta casa.
