The property was in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations and the main square. It’s very central, you can comfortably walk to all the key points in Galway. The dorms had comfortable layouts and the facilities were always clean. The staff are awesome, trying to get everyone mingling about and helping with tips! The breakfast spread was superb, too!

Located in the heart of the beautiful Westport Quay, Ireland, The Helm is adjacent to Westport House and overlooks the idyllic Westport Harbour. It offers a restaurant and bar with live... We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

The location is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to a beautiful beach with amazing views of Tory Island and the mountains. The pods were clean, cozy, and well-equipped—perfect for a comfortable stay close to nature. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, friendly, and helpful throughout. Highly recommended for a relaxing break in Donegal.

The accomodations were comfortable, cozy and casual. The property was filled with history and the host was welcoming and quite enjoyable. This farmhouse is steeped in history and is still owned and operated by descendents of the original family. The host treated us like family and shared many historical memories of the family and the farmhouse with us. The accomodations were quite comfortable and clean. I would recommend this property to anyone seeking an experience steeped in history. It's location just outside of Limmerick made for easy access to all our destinations in the area. This is a home and not a hotel which made it such a wonderful experience.

Excellent spread for breakfast every morning, could not believe it was free. Rooms were clean, nice fitness facility. Couldn't have had a better stay.

It was an incredible experience. The pods are superb, super cute and the hangout area super nice. The people at the farm is amazing and the farm is incredibly nice and clean. The breakfast included is really nice as well. We will come back for sure!
