Thamel was also close by , so it was great location for exploring areas.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this family-run guesthouse located near a peaceful river — the sound of the flowing water was so calming, especially after busy days in Kathmandu. The family lives on the property and welcomed us with genuine warmth. Their son greeted us with welcome drinks and later invited us for a lovely morning walk to a nearby temple. His mother prepared delicious breakfasts on the veranda with a stunning view. The whole family was incredibly kind and even invited us to join their son’s birthday celebration and a local festival, which made our stay unforgettable. It’s a quiet and relaxing place with no traffic noise — only the soothing sound of the river. We would love to come back one day! On the photo you can see the family and us. Plus the veranda and the view where we had our breakfast.

We felt like we were at home. The place feels like home with greenery around. It is spacious... You can just stay here and go uphill walking where the view is amazing and there are good eating options as well (Buddha's eye etc)... It's a quiet a perfect place away from any traffic noise. We spent a lot on hotel rooms but this one was much better at this cost.
