Location is superb. 5min walk from lake to take a dip. Host also well beyond what I would expect and extremely friendly. Gave us towels for the day to use at the beach even after our check out and we were also allowed to park our car there for a bit longer to save public parking fees.

We stayed in a spacious apartment with a breathtaking view of the lake and mountains. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. Free parking is available near the hotel. St.Paul's restaurant on the first floor was exceptional, boasting attentive staff and sumptuous meals. Both breakfast and dinner were truly delightful.

Located in Ebensee, Hotel Hochsteg Gütl is an ideal starting point for excursions to the historic villages Hallstatt and Bad Ischl.

THis facility is EXCELLENT!!! What a dream of a place to relax and vacation. Mother Nature provided rain for many days but we were comfortable, well taken are of and enjoyed the clean indoor pool and sauna. Gorgeous grounds, fantastic breakfast and afternoon "Kaffee und Kuchen" with delights backed by Margareta (the owner) herself. This is a family operated hotel and restaurant and we were truly spoiled. They all went above and beyond helping us (when our rental car would not start), catered to our needs for our 93 year old mother and were always kind, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant on the property called the Mostschenke im Heustadl and provides a five star Austrian experience in dining. The family has been on this property since the 1600's and have up-dated and built the hotel in the last ten - twelve years. The Mostschenke is the renovated cattle barn and it a delightful venue for dining. The Hotel is clean, bright and the two bedroom chalet suite is a dream for a family vacation. Great farm to stay at, located 2min from the cute town of St Wolfgang. We loved our stay. The room was spacious and bright, very clean and modern, yet with the local architectural wooden touch. The host Christine was very welcoming. We highly recommend.
