The staff was extremly friendly. The woman that welcomed us (I presume she was the owner of the hotel) actualy gave us a larger room with mountain view free of additional charge. Me and my girlfriend are foodies, and we like fancy restaurants. The restaurant in the hotel was Michelin standard, for a reasonable price (Dinner costed around 150€ but it was worth of it). Very tasty and good portions.

Hotel Schönegg is a 3-star superior hotel located right in the centre of car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train.

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations. It is well located, a bit uphill, but only 8-9 min walk from Wengen train station. My room had an amazing mountain view, i cannot even describe how mesmerizing it was. Everything was super clean and well functioning in the room. The owners and the staff are very friendly and ready to help if you need anything. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We loved staying at Chalet Aargovia. Wengen is beautiful. The home has an amazing view. It is perfect for families. The host Alex was very easy to communicate with. He was quickly able to answer the few questions we had. We found the walk to and from the station enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was lots of space for our family.
