The studio was perfect for myself and my two teenage daughters. Ivana had thought of everything, and the flat had all we needed for our one week stay in Bellano. The location was perfect, with a lake view from the outdoor seating area, and short walking distance to restaurants and cafés. The communication from Ivana was excellent, and she left lovely treats for us to enjoy, which were so appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Il Porticciola for a relaxing stay in Bellano.

The Meridiana is a small family-run hotel offering direct access to Lake Como from its garden, and 2 terraces. Rooms are compact and cosy.

Great location on the shore of the lake. Easy to get to from the train station. Felt like we were on a cruise as our room opened to a balcony on the water. Very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant on site with range of regional dishes and picturesque views. One of the nicest places we have stayed in Italy.

The guest house is modern and clean, spacious rooms and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and managed to get our room ready for an early check in. There is parking on site which is very convenient. They showed us to our room and helped us with our luggage. They also were kind enough to drop us at the ferry terminal in lierna.

A perfect location, close to supermarkets and the beach as well as the centre but a lot more peaceful. Fabio and Giuliana were amazing hosts making sure that we were welcome and gave suggestions they as locals like. 10/10.

First of all, our host was an amazing and lovely lady. Rita is the proprietor of the hotel and made us feel very welcome. Due to the terrible weather Italia was having at this time, there was actually a landslide that damaged the railway. Rita ensured that we were able to get to Varenna, and also assisted us with our departure. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely on a hot day. Castello di Vizeo is a very pleasant two or three minutes walk away. The Castle is not to be missed and affords amazing views over Lake Como. Rita also cooked for us both evenings and we had nice meals. We will really consider staying here again in the future!

We had the most amazing stay at Villa Gli Ulivi Chalten Apartment! The Villa was even nicer than the photos with stunning views of Lake Como. It was set up with everything you could need for your stay, for cooking and a lovely welcome basket. The owners even went above and beyond and picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us off there too. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a cosy stay in Varenna, close to town with amazing views!

Our stay at Villa Gli Ulivi was just perfect. The location overlooking the lake was awesome. Our fatigue just disappeared as soon as we stepped onto the balcony of the living room. We had a big group of 13 people but the accommodation was sufficient. The kitchen had all the required kitchenware. The hosts were very friendly. They had even kept a bottle of wine for us as a welcome drink. If you want a peaceful, relaxed stay of 3-4 days near lake como, then this a very good place. The ferry point is 8-10 min walk by stairs and 20-25 minutes by road. Plus the town itself has such a beautiful lakefront with restaurants. Great stay. Would definitely come back if any trip materializes.

Everything about the stay here was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the balcony is just so beautiful. The manager, Luigi is very friendly and always around if you ever need any help with anything at all. I highly recommend getting a car rental to this location, we rented a car and were kindly given a parking permit from Luigi. Parking is quite close only a few steps from the villa. We had a problem with parking one of the days of our stay as the car park was full, however we were able to find a parking spot with the help of Luigi. The Villa itself is very beautiful, there are sun-beds, a cafe outside the gates and just a little walk down there is an amazing pizzeria. We really felt the Italian culture as the place is very local and you don’t see as many tourists as in central Varenna. You hear and speak with a lot of more local people that are all very welcoming and friendly. Of course Varenna is only a short walk down the hill however we preferred to drive down. Overall 10/10 stay, I would definitely recommend this location due to its amazing features like the landscape views, the food and the friendliness of the people.
