There is a small living area for the rooms to use which is very cosy and relaxing. There is a boiler available for guests to use (with tea and coffee) in the living room, which was nice! The accommodation is located very conviently walking distance to everything in Akaslompolo (restaurants, lake, supermarket, nature trails) and I loved coming back every evening to the cosy space. We had a car and had free parking behind the house. The kitchen is not available for guests to cook meals, but they lent us cutlery and cups for us to occasionally make some instant soup/noodles for dinner. Breakfast was served very nicely and shared with the other guests. They were also accommodating for vegan diets with cheese, cold cut and milk alternatives. They offer a lot of activities as well for anyone who would like to partake.

It had a fully equipped kitchen, and the building also had a ski room and a place to wax equipment. The location was perfect, short walking distance from the slopes, restaurants, and tour centre.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our trip. Sauna was lovely after a long day on the hill. There is a locker downstairs for all ski/snow equipment, as well as a room for waxing and fixing snowboards which was great! being able to do laundry and use the drying cabinet was also very useful. bed were comfortable and we got plenty of good sleep.

Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

The people who run it treated us like friends. They answered all our questions about the area, checked in about how are experiences were, and were just friendly and helpful in every way! There is a washer and dryer, fabulous saunas, and delicious buffet breakfast. We could walk to ski trails, shops and restaurants. We didn't really need a car.

The cabin exceeded our expectations, we felt very comfortable, warm and cosy (even with -25 outside). It is fully equipped with everything you need, we haven't missed anything in the kitchen. It is also exceptionally clean and well maintained. Location was perfect, with privacy of being nestled in the forest, but within a short walk from village center and all the amenities and facilities. We didn't want to leave.
