With fantastic views of Rothiemurchus Forest and the Cairngorm Mountains, the High Range Lodge Hotel offers spacious rooms with original artwork by local artists. Really wonderful property. We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are big and very clean. The beds are comfortable . There is also free parking available outside the lodge. Would definitely recommend this place. :)

I'm generally not a person that stays in small huts like this, but I was positively surprised by this one. It isn't the most spaceous, but it was great for the two days we stayed there, and if you're a more wilderness/camping kind of person, I definitely recommend it. The surroundings were lovely woods with some nice walking paths, that especially at night provided some great opportunities for star watching, and the hut itself has a nice little kitchen with everything you need (except maybe an oven, but if you do it right, you can definitely do without that), and a nice and clean shower, the beds were also very comfortable. Every hut also has a fire place outside, and the owners provide firewood upon request, if there is no fire ban at the moment, which can happen if it becomes too dry. I can definitely recommend this if you are looking fora little bit more adventurous stay!

Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, authenticity, and a touch of magic in the Highlands.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this very comfortable B&B. Beds were comfortable and our host Kenny couldn't have been more helpful. I especially enjoyed the wonderful conversations around the breakfast table. It was so good to share one big table, where guests actually talked to each other. What a great way to start a day.

Beautiful and practical at the same time! We loved the attention to detail, for example there are two power sockets at the end of the bed with a nice shelf to put your phones on while you sleep. There's a good selection of dishes and cutlery to use, including the all important bottle opener for that cold beer after a long day of hiking. There's a lovely sitting space outside facing the river. The location is absolutely perfect!
