The host was friendly and welcomed us warmly. What I like the most is the bathroom, which comes with a bathtub. The kitchen is small, but it has everything we need.

El Mt Hutt Lodge está situado en Windwhistle, en la región de Canterbury, a 3,3 km de Mount Hutt, y ofrece una piscina al aire libre de temporada. The owners are absolutely wonderful. Dinner at the lodge was a highlight. We just passed through, so did not really explore the surroundings much.

Royale on Cheese, que cuenta con vistas al jardín, dispone de alojamiento con pista de tenis y balcón a unos 15 km de Broken River Ski Field. Stayed for one night to break up the drive from Franz Josef to Lake Tekapo, and had the most wonderful time. A very spacious property for a family of three. The house has everything you need and more - very comfy. The location is lovely and peaceful, the views are stunning, and we discovered very nice short walks around the village. Honestly wish we spent more time there - we love the quiet, and this place has plenty of it. Communication with the host was super easy. Remember to stock up on food on the way as there are no cafes or shops in the village. Hopefully we'll be back one day to explore the area further and to enjoy the peace and the comfort.
