Anna, our host, was via the Booking.com Message very helpful reliable and friendly. Also her eye for details was amazing. We were 3 guests, an she had organised fresh fruit (3 bananas & 3 apples), 3 bottles of water and 3 Somersby Cider, fresh eggs (6) from her own hens for breakfast, fresh loaf of bread and, we arrived at 16:00, fresh danish for the coffee 😃 The parking is infront of the house and the key box is easy to find. 5 Minutes by car (30 minute walk) to Mora center and 10 minutes by car to Nusnäs (Dalahästar). Great location. We will for sure be back.

Very cosy in a quite neighbourhood close to Siljan. A mere 30 minute walk in to the city centre. Host was very nice and accommodating. The little “grannyflat” was small but had all the as amenities you could wish for. And parking up front.

Super cozy, have everything you need to be there, a kitchen super complete , 2 comfortable beds, a sofa, table games, a big shower, and the terrace with 4 chairs and 2 more seats. If you need to hear nature this is your location, no one is gonna disturb you, but you have people near there if you need something. The only thing you’re gonna hear is the animals and wind in the trees sounds. And the very best of all is the treatment you’re gonna receive from Lena, I’ve never had an experience like this with an owner never in my life, Lena told me the best sites to visit and go and searched some activities I wanted to do. My stay there has been an absolute dream. Thanks to Lena.

Stallet - Hemma hos Mait is one of the best houses/apartments we have ever stayed in during a long travellife. Everything from the cosy outside courtyard to the smallest details indoor with every need thought of. Location for our bicycle trips round the Orsa and Siljan lakes was perfect. Thank you so much from two cyclists from Denmark in july 2025.

Hotell Kung Gösta is just around the corner from Mora Train Station and 20 minutes’ walk from the Zorn Museum. Tomteland Theme Park is only a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Very friendly staff that made a solo traveller welcome. Buffet meals had plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Having a small indoor pool and sauna was great but I did not have time to explore these fully. Bag drop and shower after my cross country ski race and after check out was the icing on the cake. 5 min walk to train station has to be up there too.

With a quiet location close to central Mora and Lake Siljan, this good-value hotel features spacious accommodation, a popular breakfast buffet and free access to both gym and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast choice.

Το Gopshusgården - Rum & Stugor προσφέρει καταλύματα με δωρεάν WiFi, παιδική χαρά, βεράντα και δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης. I took one single room in the house. It was very cozy like home. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious. I went hiking in summer. The view in the mountains is very beautiful. Vasaloppet track goes through garden. In winter, you could have a best view for watching skiing race through the windows in dining room. And it is 22km to the finish point in Mora. And there is also a wonderful ski slope nearby. This is the nearest hotel. 🙂️⛷️
