Very easy to get to from the train station. I’d have no worries arriving late as a solo traveller. Everywhere clean and quiet, bedding was very comfortable and breakfast fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice balcony with view of the mountain and village. Trains run regularly to and from Zermatt and didn’t keep me awake at night.

The honeycomb at the breakfast just so good!; then being able to go out in the afternoon while the hotel provided facilities for late check out and keeping the ski staff in the ski room, this helped us to have full use of the day! We had the room on the top floor. The room, the facilities, the view, everything was exceptional. Also the build quality of the room to the last detail was great. The pool was great also, just the right size and great ambient at the pool. Great for kids to have fun and for adults to relax. At breakfast you had a big selection of food. Everything was good. Close to the hotel you have a supermarket, the train to Gornergrat is close as well, the bus stop is also very close. Friendly and helpful staff. If we would come again to Zermatt, we would definitely pick this place again.

The Zermatt Budget Rooms are underground and come with free WiFi and TV, a 5-minute walk away from the Sunnegga Cable Car and the Glacier Express.
