Lovely hotel next to train station, main bus stop to Montreux & shopping centre. Buffet breakfast in elegant surroundings. Yummy evening meals. Free travel pass upon arrival. Twenty minutes scenic bus ride into Montreux. Fifteen minutes scenic bus ride to Charlie Chaplin's house and up the mountain. Job done.

Only a few steps from Lake Geneva, Villa Toscane is an Art Nouveau building from 1905 with a beautiful interior design. The rooms are decorated in a modern style with light colours.

Great location for the jazz festival. We were lucky to get a free upgrade to the hotel opposite with pool etc, so my review is probably not that representative.
