    I find the staff at the Xenia Volou so warm and welcoming. I ask for a quiet room in advance and am always given one where I can relax and unwind. The breakfast environment is wonderful, the dining room is light and bright with sea views and the spread of food caters for all tastes and is excellent. The coffee is superb! The hotel is within easy walking distance of Vólos city centre but escapes the city noise.

    The pool was great with a lifeguard on duty. Drinks and food available by the pool. Breakfast was great with lots of inclusions. The towels, both pool and shower, were ratty, often with lots of loose threads and multiple had actual holes in them. The spa was fantastic for massage services.

    I asked for a sea view room on the fourth floor. It was was spacious and clean with lovely sea views. Moreover it was exceptionally quiet which meant I enjoyed a very relaxing stay after a long journey. The breakfast room is wonderful; light, bright and welcoming with sea views. There is a superb selection of food, attentive and smiling staff and FABULOUS coffee.
